Dr. Murphy came highly recommended by many friends, but I am not convinced. Firstly, the layout of the waiting room is a mess. The "healthy kid" section is TINY, with few toys. The "sick kid" section is significantly bigger, and has a ton of toys. Try getting your "healthy" kid to stay in the small waiting area for a LONG time. Not going to happen. Especially since the wait time is ridiculous. We waited 45+ minutes to be called back, then another 25+ minutes sitting in the minuscule and outdated exam room. There was NOTHING to keep my child entertained in the exam room, other than than a generic framed poster on the wall. Unacceptable to expect a young child to wait THAT long, and then not even apologize for the well over an hour lateness. He IS nice and kind to the kids, but needs to stop overbooking his schedule. It's like a Pediatrics Factory, and not a Pediatric practice. Very rushed, chaotic, and impersonal.

When my kids were with him they constantly got ear infections because he used the same instrument on every child without cleaning it! Wait times very long every visit. Once we left there the ear infections stopped.

Dr. Murphy is not the doctor that we are looking for. we waited for 1 hr to be seen and when he gets in the room he is so in hurry to leave right away. He is not gentle in checking my daughters. they always got so hurt when the doctor check them. So disappointed. THis office is also greedy. Requiring unnecessary test done in their office!

Dr. Murphy is a very caring physician. He always takes time to explain and answer any questions the patient asks. We've seen Dr. Murphy for the past 11 years and my kid loves him. Highly recommended.

Dr. Murphy and Dr. Staats are amazing. They are so knowledgeable and always available when your kids are sick. I love the weekend walk in hours and Dr. Murphy will squeeze in weekday sick appointments until every kid has been seen. My daughter is 9 now and prefers Dr. Staats' motherly disposition better than Dr. Murphy's efficiency, but I would trust both of them for any health problem. Staff is wonderful and always helpful.

I went to Dr. Murphy from 4th grade until I was in college. He did everything from stitch up my leg when I got a puncture wound to treat my asthma. I always loved going to him and wish he was closer so he could take care of my kids :/

Dr. Murphy treated me from the time I was born till college. I'm now 28 with 2 children that are also being seen by the practice. Both he and Dr. Staats are simply the best. They are both very knowledgeable and explain to you thoroughly the condition of your child. They are always available either by phone after hours on in the clinic 7 days a week. As Dr. Murphy pointed out children don't only get sick Monday through Friday. I wouldn't trust my kids to anyone else.

Dr. Murphy is simply the best. He isnt always on time but it is because he has so many patients because he is a doctor worth going to. I have three children and have taken my kids to his office since my oldest was 6, Now he is a junior in college and still drives 2 hours just to visit Dr. Murphy. My two younger daughters think he is great. Very knowledgable, Excellent doctor. I have alway recommended him to all my friends and family
