Had injection for diabetic macular edema. Was not sure what to expect as it was 1st time and Dr McCabe and staff were very good at preparing me for the injection. All went well, thank you Dr McCabe and staff.

Dr. McCabe is truly the Wizard of Eyes! He removed the cataract in my left eye so far. I was very nervous, even scared. But with his reassurance and professionalism, I am now looking forward to having my right cataract removed. I highly recommend seeing Dr. McCabe if you need eye surgery done. Definitely two thumbs up!

I was referred to Dr. McCabe for macular degeneration. He was exceptional at explaining everything, taking away my fears. He providing treatment and explained the need for future ones. He’s very caring and sociable and put my worries to rest. Everyone of his staff are respectful and friendly. I will recommend Dr. McCabe to anyone.

First treatment was done in 2017, right after my moving in Lethbridge. Absolutely very fortunate to have had my cataract operations by him 2 years ago. He and his office staff took care of my eyes to my best comfort! Absolutely recommended to everyone. The staff and all the test equipment are operating at their top level and their work is seen systematic and highly reliable. ty

I am quite sure Dr. McCabe and his staff have the knowledge needed to receive an adequate rating. However, if you should have any side effects after cataract they are very reluctant to give you the time of day. Hopefully the symptoms I am experiencing will clear up in six months as that seems to be all I get from this Doctor or his staff. It appears that it’s all about cranking out the surgeries but they really don’t have time for the follow up.

I had a detached retina in my right eye. Dr McCabe was great getting me in to a retina specialist in Calgary. When all was done started seeing Dr MacCabe. Had two six month appointment s and each one showed a dip in my left eye. Was told to wait a year and a half to have it checked again. Six months from my last appointment I started having trouble seeing out of my left eye. Phoned The office and was never called back. Phoned four times and finally had to be referred to another optamoligist. I had a macular hole where the dip was. Called the office again and still nothing.very disappointed in Dr McCabe and his staff. They lie and don’t care about an individual. I am still now waiting to go to Calgary in April to a retina specialist referred
To by another doctor. It is all about quantity no quality here anymore. I can’t see well out of my left eye but it must not matter except to myself. I have had this since January and have never been called back by Dr McCabes office.

I had to have a needle in the eye and he is so professional with outstanding bedside manner. Highly recommended to anyone with eye issues

Had cataract surgury last month .. went from blind in that eye to 20-20 vision. But above that, Dr. McCabe and his staff are awesome ... very thorough, I didn't feel rushed and all my questions and more were explained clearly. Doesn't hurt that he's a Rider fan too.
