I searched long and hard for an OBGYN who wouldn't deal with my LARGE fibroids by immediately suggesting a hysterectomy. Dr. Nordstrom listended and respected my wish to keep my uterus, cervix, and ovaries, though in the end, after she had explained all options and prescribed Lupron Depot in an attempt to shrink my uterus, I did opt for a partial hysterecomy. I kept my ovaries and cervix, as I had hoped, but lost the bulk of my uterus and all fibroids. Throughout, Dr. Nordstrom was supportive. The surgery went well and I am thankful that she and her team were careful and respectful with me. I highly recommend Dr. Nordstrom. She specializes in alternatives to hysterectomies.
