I had a neck injury -C4-C5. The doctor seemed very knowledgable but very biased towards fusion surgery. He didn't really listen to my concerns, seemed a little condescending. Wasn't using PATIENT CENTERED approach. I think a good doctor wants the client to be very involved in the process. He seemed too old school for me, "do a spinal fusion surgery because I know best." I wanted him to show me options where I do the surgery as a last option. He didn't...wasn't helpful unless I wanted to cut into my neck
