The staff is terrible. If you get doctor Goodwin, he is knowledgeable and attentive, his nurse practitioners are not. ONLY see doctor Goodwin, and ONLY for regular check ups, scheduling a sick appointment is a nightmare. I was told I had to wait 5 days for an appointment for a urinary tract infection. I called another doctor and was seen the same day.

Dr Goodwin has been my doctor since 2000, and I have always found him to be highly competent and committed to the well-being of his patients. In my view, he is a good doctor and a good man.

Dr. Goodwin has been my doctor for the past 10 to 15 years. He is an excellent physician and in the years that I have gone to him, he has earned my esteem, my absolute faith and my trust. He recently changed his entire front office staff and the new staff are delightful! There were issues with his prior front office staff and I am extremely happy to see that he has finally addressed this issue. If you want a thorough, matter-of-fact medical professional, make an appointment with Dr. Goodwin. You won't regret it.

Dr. Goodwin is a fairly good doctor with good personalty and knowledge base, however his staff is absolutely the worst I have seen in my life. They lost my test results, blamed LabCorp and charged me for it still. I had to go back and redo the test which is ridiculous. Some of the reception staff are rude, while others seem to just not care. Had no choice but switch doctors.

I finally had to leave his practice. While I had adjusted to his odd bedside manner over the years, his staff is ridiculously rude, constantly makes mistakes on scheduling and is very unkind when doing intake. "Miss? Why are you here?" "Because I spoke with the nurse yesterday who scheduled my appointment." "Oh, well, she's not here." Horrible.

Dr. Goodwin is overall a good physician. He is knowledgable and I feel takes the time to address issues you may be having. I do like that he will send you to a specialist or for tests to rule certain things out. His staff on the other is unprofessional, rude, and inattentive. I received information that was contrary to what I'd already been told. When I attempted to get to the bottom of it by speaking with the doctor I was told he was not available. As much as I like him, I plan on changing doctors ASAP.

Positive: Dr. Goodwin is very knowledgable about medicine. Negatives: Dr. Goodwin has a very cold personality and did not listen to what I was telling him. He wants to get you in and out as fast as possible. This is not good when you want to discuss something that is bothering you. He does not pre-authorize medicine, which basically means he won't go out of his way to help his patients. His staff is generally unprofessional. They scheduled me a no-show appointment, failed to call in my prescription (and it was over a long weekend) and were generally unpleasant. This office doesn't work on Fridays, either. Unfortunately, the negatives vastly outweigh the positives here.

Doc G's fine. But his staff - another story. To me, they're indifferent at best, rude usually, act like I'm a bother to them. To others, too. One time at while I was at a medical lab for some tests and the lab receptionist had to call Doc G's office for a clarification, she remarked to me how rude they are.

He has been my husband and I's doctor for a number of years. I think he overrefers and overtests. He has my husband going to see so many different specialists that he can't even keep straight what he is doing. (Really his only true medical issue is hypertension). He has recommended my husband go back to see a specialist over an issue, that this particular specialist said was nothing to worry about. On a separate issue, he ordered a test on an issue that another specialist said didn't need to be followed anymore. I questioned his opinion about a relatively minor matter, and he wants to send me to a specialist and perhaps have a test (of which I don't fit any of the criteria for needing the test). Not to mention, a very large study came out that basically confirmed what I had said about this issue. He has even come up with I would say some very odd recommendations for tests over a non life-threatening issue that I have. I could go on with other examples

Dr. Goodwin was my physician for over 15 years. I hardly saw him the first 15 but after my daughter was born I started having health issues. He ran tests that didn't make sense and when I questioned him he got rude as if I was doubting his competency. He tone was so horrible that he actually made my 6 month old daughter start crying! I knew he had no real personality to speak of, but that was ridiculous. His office staff is unprofessional and over the years his offices have become shabby and not as clean as one would expect from a Columbia physician.
