My daughter is now one month old and we live on the eastern shore. Today we went for her one month check up and Dr. Gordon saw her. He was very kind and gave us some good tips. I remembered having a Dr. Gordon as a child and it turns out he was the same man. I am happy that he is still in practice and hope that he doesn't retire anytime soon so he can see my daughter til she is grown. I have no bad childhood memories of going to see him. I remembered him perfectly and was very happy to seem. He even remembered me & my family. Which I think is the best quality in a doctor. The relationship between the family and the doctor should always be close and comforting.

Very happy with Dr Gordon have been taking my children for 6 years to see him.At first he would ask the same questions over again but after my son had some health problems he now knows us very well. He is very caring once you get to know him.He is very knowledgeable and will continue to stay with his practice.We did have a problem one time with a former nurse practioner but she has been gone for 5 years now.When he does retire we will be very sad!!Now expecting our 3rd child i look forward to him showing up at the hospital to welcome our new little one!

Best pediatrician I have ever been to. Very caring, has great bedside manner, and is very intelligent. I work with doctors daily and I wish he were one of them! I would not take my children any where else.

We became a patient of Dr. Gordon 10 months ago when our daughter was born. Over the past few months he started to have us come in monthly for weight checks since my daughter is petite and on the low end of the growth chart. She continued to gain weight and height every month however it was enough for the doctor. He diagnosed her as failing to thrive and ordered a full panel of lab work. He ordered an abdominal scan based on his concern for hydronephrosis. My daughter had no symptoms of such a condition at all, results were perfect. He stated something is seriously wrong with her, she is not just petite. He was very fatalistic every time he spoke about her health. I have since had three medical professional exam her to find nothing wrong she is perfect! He was misdiagnosing her, subjecting her to unnecessary tests, costing my insurance unnecessary $$ and all of the stress he put on me. Every time I questioned him he would become abrupt and insulting my intelligence. We switched drs.

Our bad experience was (on several occasions) with one of his nurse practioners... she misdiagnosed our child and when we went to the ER to get the real diagnosis, she told us the the LICENSED doctor was incorrect and she was right. Needless to say after that we changed Dr. offices and our son was a lot better after having the correct antibiotics. Just so you know- we brought him in for a severe sore throat, that was similar to strep.. she diagnosed him with severe blunt forced trama to the throat(?) We were completely confused so immediately afterwards took him to the hospital and they swabbed his throat and found that he DID have strep throat! I have never been so upset with anyone in my life! That was my child that she misdiagnosed! We have our speculations why she did that- but we can't say why. I hope this was helpful.

Not very supportive of extended breastfeeding - always forgetting that my son was still breastfed.

Has gotten older and forgetful. He didn't remember to write in our file a perscription that he had written one week before and thought we were there for a check up. He even argued (lightly) the fact that he had written us one. He started going over the same things (ie height, weight, diet, activity) that we had just discussed the week before. I can't trust him anymore and after 11 years I have had to find a new doctor. He's a smart man, but he needs to quit seeing patients.

Seems to know his stuff however office admin is lacking, nurse practicioners give uneven advice, office staff has high turnover
