The worst doctor ever left me with double chin. Did 3 times injections on me made it worst .
Never wanted to see me again to fix the problem.

I had a rhinoplasty surgery when I was just 18 in the early 2000s. I remember Dr. Ellis walking out and said "you must be here for your nose". He had done rhinoplasty surgery for 2 of my aunts when they were around the same age in the 1970s. I was very happy with my results and had significantly improved the straightness and huge bump I had. The only thing was I went back a few years later as I had never got my before and after photos and I never did.

I had rhinoplasty in the mid 90’s and goretex implants to correct an upturned and wide nose and to eliminate jowls. The results looked nothing like the picture he provided with expected improvements. First off I thought he was going to do the surgery but there was another doctor present who was being trained by Dr. Ellis who participated in the surgery. My nose was still wide so I had to return to the office at a later date for a redo. Minimal improvement. The goretex implants for jowls did nothing to improve my appearance because I looked exactly the same once all the surgery swelling was gone. I certainly wasn’t going to have him/them insert more goretex to try and fix it again. Unlike comments from others the goretex implants cause me no pain (just a waste of money!). In both nose surgeries, the Dr. tied off a stitch in the front corner of my nose. Today, you can see an indentation in skin where the stitch was. Dr. Ellis was very pleasant at the time but I wished I’d gone elsewhere for the surgery.

Rhinoplasty completed in 1986.....was thrilled with the outcome and still very happy.
Dr. Ellis was very kind and knowledgeable.
Sorry to see these unfortunate reviews.
He was in his prime in the 80's and 90's
Maybe time to retire

Saw Dr. Ellis in 1995 for rhinoplasty and a chin implant. He was sarcastic and insulting after surgery. The rhinoplasty showed very little improvement, and the chin implant left a large bump on my chin which looked worse than before surgery. Very unprofessional.

I saw Dr. Ellis for collagen, facial Gore-tex implants, and two facial CO2 ablative lasers years ago. My appointment time was changed by his receptionist. He was angry and treated me very roughly. He didn't do a patch test for collagen an I had an allergic reaction. The expensive lasers did nothing at all and his hands shook back then too. The Gore-tex still causes problems with redness and swelling over the sites. A well-known dermatologist told me she never heard of Goretex used that way and asked if she could check it for herself. Now, 20 years later, I'm seeing Dr. Juvenberg for revision due to functional problems with Gore-tex.

I live in the States and come to Toronto fairly often. I started getting fillers done by Dr Ellis and have now for 4 years...once or twice a year. I have never seen his hands shake and have always been pleased with the results. During today’s app’t (6/10/19) I asked about a touch up on above my upper lip and he said it was too soon and wait. Dr Ellis is gentle, honest and very tuned into my expectations. I don’t understand the negative reviews.

Wow, these comments make me sad because I was lucky to have had the chance to be treated by Dr. Ellis 15 years ago while he was still in his prime, and he was exceptional. He corrected a rhinoplasty for me that I had gotten done by another doctor, and I was super pleased with the results! BUT that was 15 years ago ...

Fast-forward to today, when I was googling cosmetic physicians to find one that sells Latisse, and spotted Dr. Ellis' name - was rather shocked to actually see him still practicing. Fifteen years ago, he already appeared to me to be solidly over 60 - so by now, he must be +/-80-ish? For an industry that requires great hand and eye precision, I'm surprised he's still practicing medicine?

Years ago, I went to Dr. Ellis' practice to get a scar on my upper lip scar lasered. The technician, under the direction of Dr. Ellis, ended up burning my lip- my entire upper lip bruised and blistered for weeks- completely changing the look and size of my scar. I brought the matter to the College of Physicians for investigation and because doctors are so well protected within the college, all they could do was give him a stern warning. How does a doctor blow up someone's lip?!

Very shaky hands. While I was having a procedure done, one of the apprentices he was mentoring had to correct him on what he was doing. Yikes. Perhaps he's gotten a but too old to be practicing.
