I've known Dr. Grbac for over almost 20 year and have worked with him when I was an undergraduate intern learning more about the counseling field, later on as a licensed clinical provider in his office and as fellow provider serving the Orlando community. He is a highly skilled, competent and caring person and provider. Regarded and respected in the community and skilled in working with legal cases regarding parenting evaluations, parental reunification and divorce as well as couples counseling, individuals, teens and children. I've had many clients who've worked with him over the years who've spoken his praises and have disclosed that their work was extremely helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Grbac and his team to clients and colleagues.

This is one review that pains me to write. There is so much emotional pain that is directed at dealing with Dr. Grbac. He was to be the therapist to help me and my son regarding a reunification case. First and foremost I'm well aware that a therapist is there to be paid for their work. I paid Mr. Grbac for the work he performed on the case. I saw this man three different times w/ regards to reunification work.

**After he saw me and my son together, he informed me he was very sorry for how terrible the mom was and her manipulation to our son.**

I asked Mr. Grbac shortly there after to write up a status report to the court to state the very same....he outright refused. When the mother was supposed to come in during her slotted time, she refused to show up on time and came 'conveniently ' the following hour; naturally Mr. Grbac felt compelled to charge me the hour for the mom's missed hour to my bill. I asked one more time for Mr. Grbac to write up a status report to the court about what he had told me about the mom...out right refused.

After this last request for Mr. Grbac to write up a status report he billed me for 'other' things' not related to me. **I won a credit card dispute against this man for $1,000's, I can prove the same. **

BEWARE: the mother easily went to the session door (where my son and I were talking w/ Dr. Grbac) and listened in on that session! She masqueraded to go to the restroom (located by the room where we were in our appointment with Dr. Grbac), I know this as my fiancé was there and spotted her doing this! I informed Mr. Grbac, however he had deaf ears about his poor system that doesn't restrict a manipulative parent from listening on in.

I had no problem going forward w/ more reunification sessions, however this man didn't look after me or my son's best interest. It's transparent how clear Dr. Grbac is after your $ rather than helping you and your family.

Dr. John is a wonderful doctor and is very caring and compassionate with children. He is a doctor who actually cares about the well being of the children. I found Dr. John to be very professional and his staff was great. I strongly recommend that if you have a child who needs someone to talk to that you take him or her to see Dr. Grbac.

I took my son to Dr. Grbac, a referral from another psychologist, some 12 years ago for an out of state court case pertaining to a child sexual abuse issue where custody was already determined. My ex husband now wanted reunification with our son. I to found Dr. Grbac to be threatening, very sarcastic and condescending as the other people have previously discussed. My son left him traumatized and refused to go back to him. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I found Dr. Grbac to be unprofessional, lacking empathy and over all a very poor Psychologist . It took all from me to keep my son from falling to pieces, thankfully he made it. He just finished up medical school and is at Harvard completing his residency, no thanks to Dr. Grbac.

Avoid at all costs as a parenting coordinator. Dr Grbac has the knowledge to be helpful but as noted in many previous comments, he is sarcastic, condescending and threatening. He takes advantage of court order cases from a financial standpoint. His fees for legal cases exceed that of a private pay neurosurgeon. Many times during parenting coordination we found him to be dishonest when sharing information to protect himself and his failure to follow through with action items. He was overbooked and unavailable the majority of the time. He would often use his power to mandate unreasonable costly services or threaten to report failure to comply to the court knowing that someone could not personally afford his recommendations. May have been a successful parenting coordinator at one time but that was long ago. The only positive is the entertainment you will receive while waiting for his untimely appts. Be ready to be enjoy a modern day version of “Friends” by the 20 something year old interns who are running the front office.

The whole system with the court and parental coordination is a scam. Dr. Grbac charges insane amounts and won’t allow payment plans. Then he takes single moms to court to pay 1,000+ over due bills ALONG with charging court costs.... even though it was asked multiple times if balance could pay monthly.... “we don’t have payment plans”.
