I absolutely love Dr. Wampler. I have seen him since I was a little girl. I just turned 18 and I will cry when they tell me I can't go to the pediatrician anymore! lol! He is like family and genuinely cares for all of his patients. My mom always said that no matter how sick I was, my eyes lit up when she said we were going to see Dr. Wampler. He is truly like family.

Wonderful Pediatrician. Being special needs, my son has a lot of doctors in his life, many of them good, but this is the only doctor we have who calls us when test results come back. He is so thorough. Last year my son started limping. Dr. Wampler knew exactly where to x-ray and a benign tumor was found. A subsequent MRI of that found a tethered spinal cord. Were it not for his diligence my son would have a very bad outcome right now. He has always been willing to trouble shoot for us like that. Highly recommended.

Dr. Wampler is hamstrung by his group when it comes to vaccinations. Myself and wife have decided to not vaccinate he informed us there is a dichotomy in the practice when it comes to vaccinations. We had to seek other services in Shelbyville.

We are completely devoted to this practice, Dr. Wampler and every other MD/PA in the office. It is so comforting to know that we can call and be seen very quickly...we never have a preference as to who we see since they are all so great. They treat the kids (and parents!) with a great deal of respect and kindness, never condescending or rushed.

Excellent pediatrician, he shows respect for kids and parents. Open to no vaccination/selective vaccination compared to most peds, as he recognizes the risks and benefits both. His office is not the best for breastfeeding help, the LCs are quick to suggest formula and he is very aggressive with treating mild newborn jaundice. But overall he is great as doctors go.

Dr. Wampler is the most amazing physician I have ever come in contact with, and I have seen my fair share! He is honest and extreamly knowledgeable on every level,full of eduacation, personal experience and self motivated research and he is not afraid to put all of his resourses and experience together to give you exceptional advice. He is very comfortable and confident enough to give you all options and information, both biased and unbiased and very professional. He is also amazing in the sence that when asked he will give his personal opinon and honest advice,based on his personal experiences as a father and a pediatrician,without ever seeming judgemental or pushy. He is a very genuine man and very respectable physician and a blessing to us as first time parents. I would trust him a thousand times over with my child and never give it a second thought. I wish all pysicians were just like him!

I feel that Dr. Wampler really listens, is not quick to prescribe meds and most important the kids really like him.
