I met Dr. Holmes in 2007 prior to my knee replacement surgery. He was personable and an excellent surgeon, I told him to make certain he replaced my female knee with a female knee. He assured me he would. I have not had one problem with my knee replacement. I've been told (don't remember if Dr. Holmes was included) that the average knee replacement has a 10-year life expectancy. Mine is still working 15 years later! What led me to decide to have surgery was the 88-year-old patient who was in his office; she had had both knees replaced and she was fine, healthy and recuperating! I was 61.
I don't recall any problems with scheduling nor staff. I love GWU Faculty Associates. I am on this website now trying to find out where Dr. Holmes is and if he accepts my insurance.
