I have been a patient of Dr. Ferrante for 25+ years. He is the most compassionate, loving and knowledgeable physician. I have had 2 pregnancies with the practice and the wait may be longer at times, but he gives every patient the time they need and deserve. He has ALWAYS answers my questions and makes sure I understand fully before the visit is over. After reading some of the reviews above, I wanted to make sure that I shared my experiences with the general public. More often than not, people are quick to share the negative as opposed to the positive, which is why I chose to write this review. Dr. Ferrante is a top notch OB/GYN and I will continue to recommend him to family and friends.

Denville office staff has bad attitude. She close her eye or rolled her eye with irritable tone when answering your questions when she feel annoyed. I waited for 45 minutes to see Dr. Ferrente, during the conversation, he doesnt seem to pay full attention and cut off your sentence before you finish. He also see two other patients in between while I already undressed and lie on the exam bed. I find he absent minded and doesnt give full attention because he has many patients. Bad experience.

Office staff is nice. He is arrogant and dismissive. Also, I told him I am allergic to sulfur drugs and he wrote me for one anyway. Luckily he seemed dim-witted and I asked te pharmacist who saved me from an allergic reaction. Incompetent. Last time I go to a D.O. instead of someone who actually could get into medical school.

Dr. Ferrante mads the whole experience comfortable. He was patient and had caring bed side manners. He answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed at all! He is the best OBGYN Doctor I know and I would recommend him to anyone!!!

Misdiagnosed my condition and now I may not be able to have children due to an untreated pelvic infection. Then had the nerves to blame me for not describing my symptoms well! Horrible doctor and human being!

Ive had plenty of disappointing doctors in the past and Dr. Ferrante definitely was not one of them. He always gave me the time and attention I needed and his honesty and knowledge made my experience and care that much better. He really makes you feel like you're not just another patient he's making money off of. You can tell he does what he does because he loves it not because he receives a check. He never failed to pay attention to my complaints and pains and he always made me feel like he had all the time in the world to answer my questions and educate me on things I wasn't very knowledgeable of. When it comes to surgical procedures he was extremely reassuring and comforting and always checked on me to make sure my healing process was going the way it was supposed to. I would recommend Dr. Ferrante to any of my friends and family in need of a great OB/GYN who really pays attention to you. I wish I had him as my OBGYN sooner! I surely wont be switching practices any time soon!

The staff at WCS and All the doctors are very helpful. Dr. Ferrante is my favorite. He makes you feel comfortable always asks if you have questions always takes time to answer them. advises you to call the office if you have an concerns once you leave. Makes it known that they are always there for you. This will be my second child with him delivering, I would not want it any other way. he makes sure your calm and reassures you that everything will be ok. All the doctors at the practice have very good bed side manners. Like any doctors office sometimes you may have to wait a little, however i have been there when it isnt the doctors fault but the patient that arrives 10 minutes late for their appointment then have to go to the bathroom and have 100 questions for the doctors... So if you go by what others are saying about the wait you will never find an office that will make you happy, I have not waited more then 15 minutes past my time. And for the weight loss issues everyone has brought up, its a sensitive subject for most however he and the other doctors are doing it for you and the health of your un born child. He has recommend me to loss weight before i got pregnant but he never harped on it or told me that I doing something wrong. The Practice in my opinion is awesome I would/ have recommended it to friends.

I have been treated by Dr Ferrante for decades and he is an excellent doctor. I have never had a problem with him or any member of the staff or group. He is professional, knowledgeable, thorough and spends enough time to answer any questions or concerns I have.

I was, quite frankly, surprised to read the negative reviews, as I have never found his bedside manner to be anything other than lovely, sensitive and professional.

Perhaps the difference in opinion between my experience and the negative reviews below is the result of a difference in what I seek from a physician. I saw dr ferrante through 2 difficult high risk, stressful pregnancies. I was comforted by our frank discussions including all aspects of my health including weight. A thorough exchange between dr and patient requires honestly and honest feedback from the treating physican. I am not sure how I would have delivered two healthy babies without that.

I have and would recommend dr ferrante to friends and relatives.

I have been a patient at WCS for 13+ years, I've never been to another OB/GYN practice. The wait time is awful, an hour + each visit. I had a great 1st pregnancy! Then I found out I was pregnant a year later, I miscarried at 12 weeks and found out I was pregnant again a very short 8 weeks later. During that pregnancy I had a very scary day of cramping and bleeding, but I was out of state so I called the on call dr, who happened to be Dr Ferrante, he told me if "I was miscarrying again that I should count my blessings because that means I wasn't going to have a retarded baby." I have never been so shocked in my life! How on earth could any DR say that especially to a mother who already had a miscarriage. I don't care what your beliefs are, don't tell me I should be happy I'm losing my child. He had bad bedside manner before but this just put me over the top. The office staff knows now not to book me with him. All of the female drs are SPECTACULAR!! They are what keep me there
