Dr. Recinto rushed through my initial appointment and I am extremely disappointed in the care I received. I conveyed how much abdominal pain I was having, my family history of ulcers and stomach complications, and the fears I had about it. She spent less than 10 minutes with me and only prescribed me a pill, with no follow up appointment scheduled.

I called back 2 weeks later to tell them how much pain I was still in, that the medicine she described had not helped. I asked to see a different doctor within the practice and her office told me that wouldn't be possible without consent from Dr. Recinto- whom I had only seen once. I requested that they ask.

I received a call back from her assistant stating that Dr. Recinto wanted me to see a G.I. dr and that they had sent an order for a procedure and consultation. I called to schedule and they said they did not have any information on me. After days of trying to get this scheduled, we finally got it scheduled for May 24 - almost 6 weeks past the initial appointment. I have continued to call Dr. Recinto's office and assistant to convey the amount of pain I am still in.

Neither Dr. Recinto's office, nor the GI office would not give me the address on where the GI procedure was. I called to follow up multiple times throughout the weeks waiting on the procedure. I found a new G.I. Dr outside of the Acension system who said they would be happy to help and could help quickly due to the pain I was experiencing they just needed the referral from Dr. Recinto. I called the office again and requested that. They sent the referral for an appointment, but will not send out for the procedure.

So we are on week 7 since my initial appointment.
To recap
Dr. Recinto spent less than 10 mins in the room with me
Dr. Recinto only prescribed pills even though I requested other tests or avenues to find the cause of the pain, which she refused- even after I told her about family history
Dr. Recinto didn't schedule a follow up
I called her office to see another Dr. due to the pain and Dr. Recinto would not sign off on me seeing a different dr. within the practice
I was not able to get into the G.I. Doc she recommended
I found my own G.I. Dr. and Dr. Recinto will not send the referral for the procedure she initially sent to a dr. within the Acension group

She was of no help. She was rushed. She did not listen. She did not renew prescriptions I needed. She told me she'd give me referrals for things my recently retired internist had been treating me for for years. Despite the fact that she had easy access to 20 years of my medical records on her tablet, she refused to continue treatments that have been working for many years--for insulin resistance, high blood pressure, anxiety and depression. The only referral she made for me, after promising several, was for a psychologist (I already see one and have been for years; this also is in my medical records). I have never seen a doctor so dismissive, so inattentive, so rushed, so rude. I wish there were a way I could report her for negligence. I saw her once, and I immediately went home and looked for another doctor. She may have a degree, but she is not practicing medicine.

Very cold, insensitive, short and rude bedside manner. She has never once out of all the times I have been to her been a good listener, willing to help or do tests. Her favorite phrase is "that's not really my area, I'll refer you to someone else". My other specialists she is referring me to are starting to wonder why she doesn't do basic check up stuff on me, and leaves it to them. I have caught her rolling her eyes, and now what bothers me most is that she sees me knowing "it's not her area" to get paid, but shoves me out the door to give the work to someone else. She gets 5 stars for punctuality, bc trust me, she shows up to get paid. Just don't expect her to actually care or lift a finger for you.

Dr. Recinto is a good listener. She is caring and, in fact, phoned me personally after another doctor, not in Recinto's group, diagnosed my breast cancer. I never feel rushed in my appointments. She tells me what she thinks, even when I disagree. I appreciate her directness. I would, and have, recommended Dr. Recinto to others.

This doctor is very kind but just after money. Every time I went to see her for something, she would have me do tons of tests that had nothing to do with what I went to see her for. Didn't have refills for my prescriptions and had to have my pharmacy fax request after request. They still haven't fulfilled a prescription request of medicine that I need and it has been 2 weeks. I have called and left messages twice. No one has called back. Very, very unprofessional and do not care about patients whatsoever. DO NOT GO TO DR. RECINTO EVER!

Alarmingly unobservant, impatient. Questioned referring specialist! Didn't read blood test order from referring specialist. Wrong blood test done as result. Office staff sullen and extremely patronizing.

Wrongly diagnosed one of my good friends and my husband. She is very referral happy. This makes me wonder how broad her spectrum of knowledge really is. Can she really make a diagnosis on her own or does she refer to let the other MD make the diagnosis? Wait time in office is awfully long. Her office staff is very uncaring. Like you're just another chart number. I would not recommend Dr. Recinto to anyone.

visited in 1999. Curt, inattentive. Despite knowing(one would hope since we are asked to write it down) my wife's allergies to a certain medication, she was prescribed a medicine which had the allergic element.
