Waste of time going to this arrogant dr. I left every time wondering what he said. Thank heavens for paperwork given at cashier. RUN

Dr. Abbas didn't explain anything to me. Ordered a life vest for me. This was my first contact with a cardiologist. I guess I figured it must be a monitor of some kind. Anyways left OHH and drove to Norman, stopped at Wal-Mart to shop. Got a phone call from a lady said not to leave Wal-Mart. She needed to hook me up with the life vest. She caught up with me said I needed to wear this thing. All this is happening very fast as it was in triple digits outside. That's basically where we were. I didn't know until then it was a defibrillator or had time to think it over. Had me sign some things real quick. I took the vest off immediately once she left. Sent the thing back to manufacturer. They charged over $4000.00 to insurance over $600.00 to me. Needless to say I'm disgusted. Turned me off to any and all appointments that were made for me. P.O.S. and I don't mean point of sale!

Rude. Arrogant. Wont look at the patient while speaking. Physicians should be trained /know to have bedside manner and compassion.

Iam very surprise to the negative comments of Dr Abbas. othing could be further from the truth from the Dr I know. I have been a patient of his for about 20 years. He has always been friendly to me and my family. He is one of the best cardioligest. He is the reason I am still alive at 81 years.

Dr. Abbas is one of the most arrogant people I have ever met. He is rude and acts like he doesn't have time for you. He won't allow you to ask questions. His actions tell me that he has little to no regard for women. It is probably a cultural thing. He also dismisses any Christian beliefs that might come up and espouses his Muslim beliefs. This is not a doctor or a man that I would ever trust again with a critical situation.

Dr. Addas has been very good about explaining my heart problems. I had a 5 way bypass and Dr. Abbas was the doctor finding the problems before I has a heart attack. I am very happy with his care.

Our experience with Dr. Abbas was good while in the hospital but once out, he acted like he did not have time to explain or answer questions. He would make a diagnosis and then leave and run another test and then come back say briefly how bad it was and then say we have options, not explain them and then make a decision for us while we were in the hallway checking out of his office. His staff threatened to cancel all our appointments when we requested all the medical records to obtain a 2nd opinion.

This doctor explains very little. He does not make eye contact. He spends as little time as possible with the patient. Having a problem with my medication, he just kept increasing it rather than changing it. Ultimately another doctor changed it and I no longer had problems. He makes you feel uncomfortable and that you are an inconvenience to him. Now he is very knowledgeable but not willing to share that knowledge just expects you to do it his way because he said so. Being a nurse helped me tremendously otherwise I would have left knowing as little or less as when I went in.
