We are very impressed with Dr Forster he is a very down to earth Dr and explained everything.
The secretary’s behind the desk were very welcoming.

I have recently had Total knee replacements on both my knees with Dr Forster. Two severely wind swept knees that are now perfectly straight and pain free. He is a very pleasant easy going man to be around who also likes to have a laugh. He takes his time with you in his rooms and I never felt like he was trying to rush me out the door. He does make you feel like you are his only patient which is what I was looking for and so different to many surgeons I've seen in the past. He even asked me to keep him updated on my recovery via email over the Christmas break. His secretary Hannah is also extremely helpful and efficient. No waiting days for her to reply to your emails. She would always be back to you almost immediately. I highly recommend Dr Forster.

would not let another set of hands touch my ankles if you paid me to! Comments about his wait time - yes you have to wait - take a book. You wait because he gives YOU and everyone else the time you need (you will NOT be shoved out the door on the 5 min mark, which btw, are the time blocks allocated to most surgeons per appointment, Ben is usually double or tripple booked! so he can see people), if you need to spend 30 -40minutes with him discussing chopping off a foot then he will give you the time, so you leave with every question answered, a lot of others wont.. You wait so you can have the best hands in the buis do the work, if you don't want good hands and dont want to pay $200 a visit then take your gamble in the public system and let any tom dick or harry cut you open and fix your limbs, you might get a Ben, you might not, you wait and you pay for the guarantee. His nursing team and anaesthetist are amazing!!!! I've had about 11 procedures over the last 6-7 years all with QCOS, never had a problem with the front of house staff or any secretaries, they're super busy!! , but never rude (this may be a reflection of the attitude of the person/s complaining about the service). 2 year wait list for a surgeon (read between the lines, people dont stay on the list for two years) this means a surgeon is at the point in their career that they can choose their patients, most likely not going to pick the standard ACL fix , they're picking cases that are more complex, that they know they make a real difference on, that they have the skill to fix better than someone else, so yes his gatekeeper / receptionist will weed that out, because they're the ones that run a surgeons life the fact that someone mentions arrogance means they haven't met Ben hahah! literally the most! laid back easy to relate to surgeon I have ever met that I have heard refer to himself as just a carpenter and other doctors as the 'smart doctors'

Dr Forster is amazing... I snapped my achilles tendon 3yrs ago and the surgeon at the time did reconstruction using an artificial tendon (LARS ligament). This method limited my range of movement in my ankle dramatically and caused me a lot of grief, discomfort and pain for 3yrs until I saw Dr Forster. Dr Forster performed corrective surgery and although im only 5wks post-op, i have more movement in my ankle now than what i did for the last 3yrs. Yes you do have to wait to see him but i concur that its worth the wait. Dr Forster is the best and I highly recommend him

I did not end up seeing Dr Forster because his receptionist was so rude. Your staff are your front line representatives and based on her, I had no interest in seeing Ben Forster. Her attitude is tolerated and presumably endorsed. A fish rots from the head down.

I snapped my achilles Tendon some 18 months ago - it healed via a moon boot but I had a limp - there was also another tear present - a friend recommended I see Ben - I am in my early sixties and am active - I wanted the limp gone and to resume a normal active life - I have just had the operation to repair the tear and to get rid of the limp - it is early days as I still have to get rid of the cast and do the obligatory "moon boot" purgatory - I have read the reviews on this site and can clearly say that the seats are not hard, I did not need to bring a book and Hannah was and is wonderful - once Ben saw the problems I had he put me straight through his practice - I could not have asked for a better surgeon. So I have no hesitation in recommending Ben and his team.

Years ago, Dr Forster took over the care of my son and his gammy foot. When the condition couldn't be determined/treated by another (though excellent general orthopod) we had to seek a foot and lower limb specialist and the Rugby loving Dr F sorted everything. He was absolutely delightful with my then 12 year old son, and just generally fabulous to deal with. Despite the circumstances it was a pleasure - and a very good outcome. My son still has ugly feet, but not quite as much! First rate care and can't say enough good things.
