Doesn't provide second opinions which is ridiculous. Seems to be common amongst QLD surgeons and does no favours for those suffering in pain.

I had Dr Vertullo perform total knee replacements 5 weeks apart. Despite advice from friends, relations & neighbours that I should expect horrendous pain, I had virtually no pain. Three simple exercise that I did myself at home and no need for physio. 10 days on crutches, then 3 weeks using bush walking poles and walking unaided thereafter. Could not fault Dr Vertullo, his staff and the staff at Pindara Hospital.

Excellent surgeon, cannot speak highly enough of his professionalism and skill. I went to him on the advice of my physiotherapist, who had worked at Pindara and had seen his work at first-hand. While I was recovering after the op, this advice was supported by the physiotherapist who was looking after my rehab.

Had a good experience with his staff and advice, apparently I don’t need surgery at all. Good advice instead of blindly getting surgery and spending a fortune.

Couldn't recommend Dr Vertullo highly enough. He carried out an ACL reconstruction on my right knee a couple of years ago and I recovered as fast as physically possible with no pain nor complications and a very small scar. I found he was both highly competent and honest - not salesy, not sleazy, just a straight shooter who's focused on achieving the best results. I've been referring him to lots of people and will keep doing so. Thanks Doctor! :)

Chris did TKR on both my knees 3 weeks apart in early 2018. My recovery rapid and relatively little pain. It has totally changed my life after years of pain. Chris a wonderful surgeon and I have recommended him to everyone that I know who is looking at knee surgery. Doesn’t mince words but why should he. His skills speak for him. His staff were also wonderful.
