I find Dr Lau very respectful, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. My family have been seeing her for many years and we can always trust and rely on her for everything. Although she is very busy, she always tries her best to fit me in and listen to my complaint.

A great Doctor with friendly sfaffs. She diagnosed my mother's cancer and referred her to relevant specialists. Since it was diagnosed early, the cancer was treated on time. My mother has been living well and healthy ever since. Thanks to Dr Lau

Staff very friendly. Dr Lau was very punctual, helpful, thorough and understanding. I did not feel rushed at the consultation. Her management was accurate and her bedside manner was very good.

Several years ago, I had an allergic reaction while walking through a park and went to see Yannie Lau to do a test on what I'm allergic to. She told me to go back to the park and notice what I may be allergic to. I vowed never to see her again. My wife, on the other hand, kept seeing her against my advice. Last year, Yanny Lau prescribed penicillin - something my wife told her she is allergic to. My wife has adverse reactions and her whole body swells up, first her hands, then her arms, then her torso, then her face. We dial 000. The doctors there give my wife the medication to reverse the effects of the penicillin. I spoke to Yanny Lau on the phone about this and she will not accept responsibility, saying that because the method of taking the penicillin is different she it would be ok. Now after a year later, everything is as it was, but my wife's hands have aged 10 years and haven't fully recovered from the allergy. I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.

Dr Lau is experienced with pap smear test. She does it with least discomfort of the patient.

Went to her to ask for a mental health referral so I could see a psychologist and have sessions bulk billed (as I cannot afford the $150 an hour sessions). She refused and said my private health would cover it. I said my private health didn’t which is why I was coming to a GP. She still refused and said “you should increase your private health.” I left without assistance and had to go to another GP for help. Would not recommend Dr Lau.
