I had Dr. Murray in emerg. at the end of Mar. I was admitted shortly after being called back and she was the one I saw. Dr. Murray went outside and found my husband and brought him in. They found bone cancer and she didn't want me to be alone when she told me. If there is any way I could get a hold of her I would appreciate it if anyone could help. Would love to be able to use 'no stars'. My 81 year old father with Dementia was sent by ambulance to KGH Emergency for assessment in a crisis situation (violent at home). NOTHING was done with regards to his care - told us to drop off money for him for a hotel if no one could take him. But it gets better - they discharged him ALONE to let him walk the streets of Kingston. Being told by Dr. Murray that it was an 'interpersonal issue' at home and they could do nothing is an example of the lack of caring and concern for our older citizens. Dr. Murray should be ashamed of herself.

Dr. Murray is very nice and competent doctor. She took her time to inquire about all my sign and symptoms in a very friendly and caring manner. She was very thorough and explained everything very well. Very reassuring with a smile on her face throughout. Excellent experience with the emergency services . All the nurses and staff were very nice and I was treated very well . Thankyou Dr. Murray , all the nurses and the rest of the staff. Shahida T

She was quite nice and tried to be reassuring but did not seem to know what she was doing. I would not go back to the hotel dieu er if I had Dr. Murray again. Basically was just nice but unsure of what she was sayin and kept going back and forth. Rather a doc be straightforward and not need to be super nice about it versus just acting like she cares but not helping.

Dr. Heather Murray is by-far the most composed, caring and intelligent doctor that I have met. My wife and I feel lucky and blessed to have taken the detour to Kingston from our way home from Ottawa, and see her in ER at Kingston general hospital. She quickly assessed my wife, ordered a few tests and diagnosed a kidney infection for what seemed to be flu - all within 2 hours before she sent us on our way. God bless her and all the others for looking after us so nicely.

Excellent and caring emergency Doctor very thorough kept on top of tests and she was the best doctor I ever had in an emergency room thought I would have been able to thank her when I left as a patient but guess ishe was then off my case when I got a "resident " specialist that wasn't a specialist as I thought so thank you Doctor Murray for looking after me so well I was never able thank you
