As a former ER nurse , I can say that Sarah is unprofessional, rude and dismissive. I was so disappointed in the care she provided my daughter and how she treated me at the ACH, for a medical problem for my daughter. I wonder why she even chose medicine with a bedside manner like that. I have worked with some of the best ER docs here in Calgary....she is definitely not one of them.

Injured my left hand middle finger tip. Broken bone tip of finger and skin tip separated 75%. Was completely comfortable with Dr MacPherson. (Besides the actual injury of course). I'm grateful for her training, talent, experience and great support team. Beyond expectations after having previous experiences with some doctors around the world. My own real-life hero. No complications to my injury as infections and such could have had serious repercussions. Paul N. injury March 24 2018.

She did her best to figure out my problems and was great in getting test done and find the answers we where looking for. Never fun to go to the ER but this doctor made it feel a bit better.

I had to go to the ER at Foothills last week, and I was extremely happy that I had the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Macpherson. Considering I arrived there with an odd condition, she was very thorough and completed every procedure she needed to, and got the job done. She was called into the trauma unit for a shooting and was quite delayed in getting back to me. She apologized thoroughly once she came by, and gave great suggestions on how I should follow-up with my GP. P.S. Of course there was a wait, it is the ER. 5 hours to get into emergency, 5 hours to get released.
