I had consulted Dr. Nwaka several times. He is very knowledgeable with good bedside manners. My family is satisfied with his care.

Dr fontaynes replacement. Went to see him about my hand. Lost use of three fingers, sent me to a nerve clinic. Deactivated my file, I wasn't active enough. They sent the results to the office and by the time I phoned him he had left the practice and had failed to inform me I had been Deactivated or that he was leaving. Very unprofessional. Still can't use three fingers and now I have to find another Dr. Only wish there was some recourse for people like him.

He is an amazing physician. He looked after my daughter for her mental illness and she had always wanted to see him for other problems.

Waiting for results from colonascopy...called to find Dr Nwaka is no longer there. Why was I not informed?? Poor communication. Waiting another 2 weeks for an appointment with another replacement.

He became my doctor after Dr. Fonteyne retired. I have seen him several times. In the initial visit he appeared attentive and asked questions and gathered my history. Since that initial visit, my opinion of him has drastically changed. He did not call me with my abnormal lab work, I noticed the results after looking them up myself. I called the office to ask for an appointment to discuss my concerning results. He called me back later that evening, said he would book further tests including ultrasounds and that his office would call me within a few days. 2 weeks have gone by with no phone call. I called the office today who told me they can see the notes he wrote on my chart however he has not completed the requisition and is now away. reception told me that she would need to see if the doctor covering was comfortable ordering the ultrasound. Almost 6 months have gone by with me feeling unwell, having abnormal labs and no follow through with the medical follow up completed. As soon as I secure a new family doctor for myself and family I will be leaving.
Also of note the receptions at this medical clinic lack any type of human empathy or basic manners.

Let's just say that I am relieved I found a new doctor quickly after a couple visits with Dr. Nwaka. He seemed to like to take the easy route and pin my symptoms on my work and my weight instead of doing any actual doctoring. I am disappointed this was Dr. Fonteyne's replacement. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Nwaka if you have any actual concerns about tour health.

One of the worst Doctors I have seen. I use to see Dr.Fontayne so when he retired and I heard that Dr.Nwaka was taking over for Dr.Fontayne, I was relieved that I didn't need to go look for a new doctor. The first visits were good however, it got worse from there. He became rude, stand-offish and laughed when I asked questions concerning my health. I’ve had to call and leave messages many times and barely got a response. I received a call 3 weeks ago asking me about a scan that I was supposed to have at MIC. The receptionist and I weren’t sure if I still should go seeing as I just had that scan a few months ago. She told me that she’d leave a message and call back. Never happened, and honestly not surprised. This is the 3rd or 4th time messages were left and never answered. I’ve often thought about trying to find a new one but I have medications that I need and medical issues that I need to be followed up on.

- Did not fax my prescription to pharmacy as planned.
- Has not responded to refill requests from pharmacy x3 - the pharmacy had to prescribe the medication all 3 times; however, they are not willing to continue doing this, so I need a physical prescription from Dr. Nwaka in order to refill, but he's not booking for 6 weeks (not his fault). This means that I have to go to a walk-in doctor today and pray they will prescribe my medication (not a controlled substance).
- Has not contacted me regarding significantly abnormal lab results (I was able to see them on AHS app).

... I miss Dr. Fontain so much.
