Simply the best Dr M has taken a difficult case (mine) and simplified it for me and in the process has probably helped to save my life. A bowel resection and hernia repairs. He gives it to you straight and direct, his knowledge is unsurpassed. When my wife had questions he took the time and answered her question. I have recommended him and will continue too. Did I mention that he has a kind and caring staff

Dr. Mowschenson is GOD in my mind! He saved my life, not once but twice. He knew what needed to be done on my first visit and he did not panic when I needed emergency surgery on a Sunday either. I could not be more happy that he was my doctor! I hold him in the absolute highest of regard!!

He performed a colectomy and discharged a patient with a bowel obstruction despite complaints of severe discomfort. The patient subsequently died. No compassion. I would never recommend this physician. He's awful.

Very experienced in his field, completely uninterested in my questions and concerns about my medical condition although he had a pre-printed note to explain anything I might need to know. I felt completely disrespected and diminished after an initial consultation and asked my health insurer for a referral to a different doctor and a different hospital.I could not recommend this doctor because of his manner.

I found that he can come off as cold, abrupt, etc. in the office. In the hospital, for surgery, he was a completely different person...happy, warm, relaxed. His extensive knowledge helped me with a very painful problem that had been going on for years...one that no one else - and I saw tons of specialists - could fix. If I needed another surgeon, I'd go back to him without hesitation.

Dr. Mowschenson is a gifted surgeon and outstanding in all respects. He is very responsive to his patients and is focused on solving the problem at hand. He deliberates very carefully over whether surgery is the correct option, and in my case the procdure was successful and without complications. I hold him in the hightest regard.

This doctor is available and professional. As he interviewed me, I could see in his eyes that all the dots were being connected. Most importantly, he asked the right questions. The patient interview played a much larger role compared to any other doctor I have ever seen. What you say matters. Lab tests do not trump the patients described symptoms. His surgical team is unsurpassed. He asked, I answered, he listened. He saved my life. Enough said.

I love Dr Pete, always available for his patients. On a sunday at 9pm he got back to me by email and called in scripts to basically solve my issues. If you're looking for a Doc to talk all day he isn't for you. If you want a skilled surgeon for a j-pouch he is the best. He's highly recommended by myself and many others. Thanks Dr. Pete, its been 10 yrs and he always calls me back or emails me with advice within hours but usually minutes.

Doctor mowschenson is a genious. within the first 5 minutes of meeting him, I knew that he was the only doctor I wanted to perform my surgery. When he talks, you listen. He exudes this confidence and has this way of grasping your attention with his knowledge. I had my surgery 4 years ago, but still talk to him on a regular basis. He's brilliant.
