I was previously a patient of Dr. Kitay's, but have since found a much better doctor. The concierge practice was good, and the staff was very kind, but Dr. Kitay herself was a very bad doctor to me. Dr. Kitay consistently disregarded my concerns and rushed through our appointments. She would often have no ideas for next steps for my issues or just try to prescribe medication or intense procedures without fully understanding my situation (because she would literally cut me off). When I spoke to her about making a plan for my chronic pain, she didn't suggest any testing or non-invasive procedures first before jumping to medication and surgery/injections, even though I told her I preferred to start with less intense or homeopathic solutions first . She never tested me for an autoimmune disease that I had (which my other doctor recognized almost immediately).
I paid a lot of money to be part of her service, and she neglected me. While she's obviously intelligent and competent, I think she was a completely useless doctor because she wouldn't take me seriously enough to listen to my concerns or requests.
