13 years with a vasectomy performed by military medic trainees. Went to Dr. Silber for a reversal.
One year (to the day) post-op and it was like the vasectomy hadn't even happened.
Three daughters later and I would say he was the absolute right doctor!

Without making this a completely justified long post about how terrible this man is.... instead I will just simply Give warning to all women seeking IVF treatment... NEVER consider him as your doctor. My sister endured trauma for 2 years and I will not fail in letting the world know about it. If I can spare even one women with this post I will praise God.

He claimed to be specilazed in older patient. But older patient do not have time to wait for 3 months for a transfer. As an international patients who was 46 at that time; going to him was a mistake. He told us that we nneded to be at st.louis for 1 week. But did not explain that we needed 1 month bc pill to fit his scheduling and than back to back cycle with a wait of 1 month bc pill. Then 3 months wait for transfer. So imagine if you are 46 who went for 2 retrievals; you end up wasting 9 months total when you should have bank month to month and do freah transfer. On top of that; being an international patients it was mentally torturing

Impersonal and rushed through our consult, he seemed to be living in the past accomplishments as a lot of the things he suggested to us was common practice back then but not now. He called us names when we asked about another option we'd heard about and told us to trust him and that we needed to follow HIS advice. He didn't have answers, just "trust me" type advice. He will talk about what he believes in and won't listen to you. We went to a different clinic and had success with IUI first try despite being told by his office that it wouldnt work with DOR.

OMG, He is the miracle man!! We were one of the first for vasectomy reversal back in 1976. Going to St Louis was a wonderful experience. I remember the taxi driver from the airport knew of him. We were at that time the second most fastest to get pregnant - I think it was two months. I am now 73 and my son will soon be 45 and a daughter 36 and both very successful. Thank you again, DR Silber, and God Bless you for what you have done and know by now, you have impacted so many lives.

We had a wonderful experience with Dr Silber and his office and staff including our coordinator Kelsey who was so great with communication. After struggling for years due to PCOS, we decided to look into fertility options. Dr. Silber explained my condition to me in a way no other Dr. had and we decided to due Mini IVF (less drugs and less money!). We had our miracle baby girl n June 2021 and couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend!

Dr. Silber came highly recommended. We were a first time successful IVF case after failing to become pregnant after VR. Dena is an amazing asset to this office. We will be forever grateful.

Worst Doctor ever. My experience with him, With Dr del Rosa and all their staff was TRAUMATIC. I wasted precious time and money, my egg essence was incredible for a 44 year old woman! I had 9 follicles each cycle without stimulation and they had not even checked or detected I had a Thyroid issue my tester one levels were tested by another doctor and were super high - they put me in medication right away. Silber is a very good old sales man, he is pure commercial all about the money - he does not care about you the patient. THE ONLY time I saw him during my entire cycle and egg retrieval was at the initial first consultation, after that not only we never saw him again but he didn’t even call me to explain what had gone wrong with the protocol (he completely suppressed my ovaries with birth control pills and then had to the me the max doses of drugs to make my follicles grow). TRUST ME don’t waste your time go to Dr Gleicher at CHR in NY who is a excellent doctor who does care. It has taken me almost 2 years to write this review because it brings me such bad memories but I wanted to do it to warn other women out there...

I unfortunately had a fairly bad experience with Dr Silber. It started out bad during the consultation where he promised me that my case of PCOS was easy despite numerous failed cycles elsewhere. The other doctors are stupid he said and doing mini IVF will certainly fix our complicated problem. So we decided to believe him. I asked our coordinator later because this information was left out of the initial meeting when they would expect to have a scheduled transfer date since they had an easy time calculating their conveniently timed (for them) retrieval estimated date. They said that we have to wait 3 months for the uterus to heal before doing a transfer and I asked the coordinator if she would ask Dr Silber if he could reconsider that protocol for me because in my previous cycles even with Clomid, I have always been told I have beautiful linings by my ultrasound technologists. I told them I do not want to continue to proceed with the cycle if I have to wait 3 months for a transfer and they ended up conceding in writing to my request and said he did not believe in doing it fresh or one month later but will do it if that is what I want. We went ahead based on that premise and on retrieval day, he said so now you will come back in 3 months. After the retrieval was done when I was under the influence of anesthesia and my inhibitions were not the same as before the anesthesia, I said to my husband to call in the doctor because I was unhappy about that comment. I told him I felt gipped and that he said I could do it one month later and that I could show him my email that I have it in writing (this was done admittedly while ballisticly crying) because I was so upset that he was telling me this now the first time I met with him in person and on retrieval day, when I had no other option but to do the retrieval considering I had upwards of 90 follicles in my ovaries that needed to come out from this "mini cycle." He said and I quote, "You would be stupid to do that, if I did say it I meant it sarcastically and you will not have a family this way."
After waiting for almost a month for Dr Silber to get back from a vacation to hear his analysis of our results and me accepting that we will wait the three months because we had no other choice - he got the coordinator to deliver the message that he no longer wants to treat us anymore and that they will arrange the shipment of our embryos to a local facility. I accepted this, feeling uncomfortable about working with him anyway and asked for the refund money for the price that included a frozen transfer in it that I would now need to pay elsewhere along with shipping (around 4k). They offered a refund of 1k. Infertility Center of St Louis charges 5k for a separate transfer which they do not advertise so if you think about it, it does not add up and that is one of the reasons why in the end we chose to transfer the embryos elsewhere. They did offer to allow in the end that the transfer to be done through the assisting physician, Dr DeRosa, but I did not feel the practice had my best interests in mind and felt uncomfortable having them handle our embryos any longer.
Another couple of side notes: I do not believe in reality Dr Silber looked at our chart and previous medical history thoroughly (this is speculation). I think he saw that I have PCOS and produce a lot of eggs so he chose one of  his two mini IVF protocols, not seeing that I did similar dosages in the past with no success but he added in clomid as well to the mix. I believed when he said he was going to do mini he would be giving me less drugs based on my medical history which was sent in but I do not know if it was actually a mini for me, or what he does for every PCOS patient. This is my thoughts based on the fact that I stimulated the most amount of eggs than any of my previous 3 IVF cycles and he gave me higher doses of medication than in those cycles. I still feel scammed that he promised me that my case was easy despite lack of success in the past and that he had the magical answer for it with his perfected version of mini IVF. To me it was a waste of many months and many thousands of dollars (and more because I ended up paying for the additional transfer of embryos, storage and shipping charges to go elsewhere). I do not think that he is being malicious per se, but I do not trust that he is actually up to date on best protocols, flexible on what is best for the patient or willing to listen to their input or even willing to give a valid explanation of why this protocol is better. For example, my other RE's did not hear of ever waiting 3 months and why that would be necessary under any circumstances and he did not explain why this is necessary either.  I retrieved 25 follicles, 24 were mature and 15 fertilized. Most doctors (except for Dr. Silber) do not measure success based on day 3 embryos. The one embryo I transferred from this cycle unsurprisingly did not work.

So glad to be a patient of Dr. Silbers!! We are currently pregnant with twins this is our second round of IVF, first one was through a terrible facility and Dr.Silber gave us great hope. It was cheaper than the last facility and less meds! Thank you to the wonderful amazing staff and Dr. himself for giving us our miracles! Highly recommend!
