Dr. Halparin has retired but he was hands down the most brilliant, compassionate, and humourous gastroenterologist around. I miss him. He was irreplaceable. He took amazing care of me for over 25 years and he helped so many patients in his time practicing. He is missed. I hope retirement is going great!! He deserves it!!

Dr Halparin has retired, sadly after being his patient for almost 30 years I have to try and find someone who I can trust like I did Dr Halparin. He was an honest, knowledgeable and straight forward physician. I truly want to thank him for being there for me over the last three decades, all the best

Wonderful wonderful physician and person. Knowledgeable, caring, and extremely attentive. His many patients over the years will be very sorry that he's retired.

Not sure how he gets all the high ratings. I suspect it's because most of them are generated by the staff as Dr halperin whisks patients through the office so quickly that everyone in the office gets to lunch on time which makes them happy. Can't believe I flew down to see him and he wouldn't give me time to explain anything. When he spun me out of the office , clapped his hands and said to the secretaries.'who'should next', I stood in disbelief that he just said that. Wow.

I suffered one of the most painful procedures colonoscopies thanks to this doctor. Never had I ever experienced any discomfort. I was appalled and reported him to my GP.

Dr Halparin was my GI from 1985-2010 when I moved away. I miss him so much! Great knowledge, no rush, explained things to me in terms I could understand. What I appreciate the most is his honesty and not sugar coating his diagnoses. I am reading that he is retiring. Sad news, but after so many years of dedication he deserves to enjoy himself. There will be a lot of patients that will be sad to see him go.
