Dr plant has been a good Dr but some time I wonder if he knows what he is doing.

I have been going to Dr.Plant since I was 13 and he's always very helpful and very knowledgeable. I do have to say that I'm not the best patient, but he's always been a good doctor to me and refers me to a specialist if I need it! Sometimes he's in a rush but he's never been neglectful and he always listens to my concerns! He PA is also very nice and super helpful when i get scared of blood tests.

Only cared about OHIP paying for 1 visit at a time, so if you have multiple issues, he wants you back another day so he gets paid by OHIP. His helper also asks personal questions right in the waiting room for everyone to hear. I saw this happen to a gentleman who pointed out to her his confidentiality was being breached! And it happened to me as well! They both talked about my issue for everyone to hear!
Also, I have been having (omitted to hide identity), problems for years. He looks at my (omitted) and says yes I have (problem) and tells me to get an over the counter drug which of course was only a temporary fix and not for the major reoccurring issue. Never cared to look into my full problem! No testing, nothing. And I am still having major problems with (omitted). I'd love a real doctor who knows what they are actually doing! This one should not be in practice.

I have tried to work with Dr. Plant but he does not seem to listen to me. I tell him I have a pain in my foot and I get sent to have my hands checked. My husband and I both presented with high blood pressure. My husband was given tests and medicine and I was told to cut out salt! He would not treat my arthritis pain because I go to a psychiatrist. I really do not understand. I now fear going to him because I fear I will be dismissed off -handedly.

seen dr. plant for a few years. he's a good doctor. if i have problems he refers me to a specialist. personally, i like having second opinions and i have another family dr now. i plan on comparing the 2 and seeing if there are any flaws or contradictions. but overall, dr. plant is a good doctor. i just dont like that he's always late but wait times aren't actually that bad depending on the time of day you visit. i'd say the earlier the better. if you're first patient then good luck, he's like an hour late.

Sometimes very rude and blunt. Doesn't want to give reports or transfer them to any other doctor. He makes himself very unapproachable, however, his diagnosis is good. I want a doctor who I will not fear...and why should I...

I have been visiting Dr Plant since I was a child. Sometimes you have to wait, sometimes you don't. He is normally pretty busy and running around but he is an amazing MD. I recently went through some complications with my health an he was a HUGE support for me. I really don't know how to thank Dr Plant - he is amazing.

I have gone to Dr. Plant for years, he is very knowledgeable and gets to the root of the problem right away. He explains what is going on and takes action right away. He does kind of rush the appointment, and talks fast. His receptionist Geena is a delight to deal with. Overall a great doctor!

He always rushes you and makes me feel like I am wasting his time. Would love to find a new GP but it is so hard.
