Absolute scumbags. I had some blood work done and someone from the office calls me and rattles off a few numbers, tells me it's messed up and Rosenblatt says I need an MRI. I ask for an email copy of the results and she says they can't do that. I check on Beaumont's website and I need to wait days for a confirmation code. I went to bed thinking I had cancer. I ran over to his office first thing in the morning and demanded to see Rosenblatt. He refused to face me like a man and sent the office manager to deal with me. The office manager gave me a copy of the lab results. Apparently Rosenblatt panicked when he saw my ALT and AST enzymes where slightly high. I told him 4 times I lift weights. These enzymes are elevated in anyone that lifts weights. This is basic medical knowledge. I handed him a copy of my old blood work results that show the same thing. He didn't panic when he saw those results. If he was so concerned about slightly elevated liver enzymes that he though I needed a high priced MRI, why didn't he call me himself? He probably just barely glanced at both sets of results. This is someone that lacks basic medical knowledge, doesn't care about his patients, and isn't man enough to even talk to me when I show up. He's no doctor, and certainly no man.

To add insult to injury, the office will not put my blood work results into the Beaumont online system despite the fact that this office in affiliated with Beaumont.

Best doctor I have seen. He has a wealth of knowledge and understands how to care for patients. He gives you the facts and helps you deal with them Not sure who these other folks saw, but this is a great doctor.

Dr. Rosenblatt was extremely late however, he is very knowledgeable and thorough. He does not rush the patient and listens carefully to what patient has to say.

Dr. Rosenblatt will make you wait a minimum of an hour. After I waited an hour and 47 minutes last time, the nurse told me that is typical. What makes the situation unbearable is that Dr. Rosenblatt is rude about his lack of consideration of patients' time. You cannot switch doctors once you are in the practice, so don't even start going here. They will make you wait 2 to 3 months for an appointment, even when you are clearly not feeling well. AVOID THIS DOCTOR! AVOID THIS PRACTICE!

Dr Rosenblatt used to be 'cutting edge' aware of and proactive in recommending technology and practices which were at the forefront of research. His medical advice to me has been uninspired for the last 5-8 years. Exams consist of little more than checking pump settings, reciting glucose readings dictated by the nurse, reviewing blood results from the last appointment 6-8 months hence, then making minor tweaks to my pump settings. Where there used to be discussion and education regarding new equipment, seminars, therapy's...Michigan Endocrinologists seems like a factory; there is now minimal discourse, you wait, wait, see the nurse and doc, give blood, pay, leave. It seems to be a numbers game...see more billable patients per hour. Expect to spend at least an hour in the waiting room and 1/2 hour in the examination room waiting. You can hope to speak to a human when calling the office. The answering system at the office is difficult to follow and messages are sometimes returned.

very kowledgeable and friendly. he is a busy doctor which can make him very pre-occupied with his own problems making the patient feel unimportant.

I sustained pituitary damage following the birth of my son in 2000. Dr. Rosenblatt misdiagnosed me and was completely unhelpful in trying to research my issues concerning a rare condition called Sheehan's Syndrome and completely negated the fact that I even had this rare condition. Any information/research that I presented him with was dismissed and he kept trying to refer me back to my OB to correct the problem. I was lucky enough to see an endocrinologist specialist in Baltimore, MD who confirmed that I WAS a TEXT BOOK case for Sheehan's Syndrome. Dr. Rosenblatt was arrogant, would not return phone calls and was just generally unhelpful. I do have a friend who sees him for trouble with diabetes and seems to be very happy with Dr. Rosenblatt. So I just want to let you know that if you are dealing with anything that is an unusual or unique problem, seek out another doctor who is up on his/her research and who is not afraid of an informed and inquisitive patient.
