I would rate Dr. Battista great - I have been a patient over twenty years. He has been wonderful to me. The problem is that it is impossible to reach him since he moved into the Stetson Building with Harbor Medical. I called in to have a mammogram scheduled as I had found a lump and it was time for the mamo. I received a call back from a Jessica that I could talk to the doctor during my next scheduled appointment. During my next appointment I told Dr. Battista that I was not happy. He checked my chart and there was no record of my call. He had not been told This week I called to make an appointment as I do not feel well. I have lost 15 pounds without trying. I cannot put my finger on what is wrong but definitely something is. The appointment was put out for seven weeks and if I do not want that one I can go to urgent care. I do not feel urgent care is the answer as I need all my meds gone over by someone that knows me and will look into everything not just put a band aid on it.

Moving back from the south and needing a new primary doctor I chose Dr. Brian Battista. It was an excellent choice! He is very compassionate, and friendly and takes the time to listen to his patients. I've never felt like any doctors I've had in the past took the time to care or listen and hurdles you through like cattle, but it's NOT the case with Dr. Battista. He truly cares and wants to make sure your well and feeling your best.
Not to mention he personally calls you with lab results, I've never in my life received a call from MY Doctor about lab results. It's usually a nurse.
I love the personal touch he offers in his practice.
It goes a long way with me, that he cares about his patients. Awesome guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderal experience. Staff is great. Prompt and listens. Got me specialist on Super Bowl Weekend and keeps in touch. He is concerned with what a patient is going through in their personal life - very compassionate.

Sweetheart of a guy. He listens and cares. He will go the extra mile and makes sure that when specialists are needed it is done promptly. Gets back to patients within a few days of any lab or other tests done.
