Dr Melgar is an excellent Doctor. She wasn't my main doctor in the office, but she was on call and delivered my second baby. Ever since, I only make appointments with her. She's professional, caring and a great listener, love her!

Worst Doctor I've ever seen. Careless and dismissive. I guess she forgets patients have options! The other 4 Drs are amazing but Melgar may need to retire as her behavior towards patients is not the most pleasant.
Don't waste your time and MONEY!!!

I love Dr Melgar. She is very knowledgeable and sensitive to my concerns. She is extremely warm and welcoming to me. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Melgar is one of the worst doctors I've been to. She has the worst bedside manor. Stay away!

I have been a patient of Dr. Melgar's for many, many years. She delivered three of my children and is always professional, courteous and compassionate. She answers any and all questions thoroughly and I have recommended her, without reservation, to many people. The only complaints I have are about the office staff and the appointment times. It seems to be getting worse as the years go by -- seems to me as if they are scheduling people every 20 minutes of so. The wait is ridiculous and the staff is really not very friendly. Although, in their defense, they could be a little overworked. One last thing, they need to re-evaluate the stupid and inane channels that they show on the waiting room TVs. Very hard to concentrate if you are trying to read during the LONG wait. Between the TV blaring AND music being piped in, it's like a circus in that waiting room.

I switched to Dr. Melgar from another OBGYN (male) that was more concerned with talking about personal matters than actually speaking to me about medical matters. Dr. Melgar is professional, knowledgable, and made me feel that my questions were valid. I felt comfortable with her, and confident that she knew what she was doing. Some patients have said that they find her to have a cold personality. I am not visiting her for her personality, but for her experience and expertise.

I went in at 5 weeks pregnant. Dr. Melgar told me there was no baby. She expected to see something and didn't so wanted to schedule a DNC. She was so quick to want to schedule a DNC - it's freightening! She was wrong. My son is now 1 years old.

Dr. Melgar delivered my first child and she was always informative and kind. Professional but also personable, always willing to listen! Would not want to go to anyone else!

I did not like this doctor at all. I thought she was dismissive of my concerns and had horrible bedside manner.
