His bedside manners are abhorant. Saw him once and left in tears, humiliated and embarrassed over what should have been a very easy consultation. It was a long time ago but I've never forgotten him. He was horrid.

PROCEED WITH CAUTION, actually don't proceed at all with this "cowboy" Dr.
You only need to google his name to have a fair understanding of his long history of medical negligence cases, his unprofessional bedside manner, his history of injuries towards women and deaths of babies to understand exactly the type of "dr" this man is.

I beg any women coming under the care of Dr claude calandra to sprint in the opposite direction and not let him lay a hand on your body.

I was unfortunate enough to experience this man 1st hand for the birth of my 2nd child in 2021 while he was a locum at the hospital I was at. In hindsight, I should have free birthed at home.
I was subjected to physical and verbal abuse, sexual assault, unconsented cosmetic procedure while I was under general having a repair surgery done that he caused in birth and so much more.
I almost lost my life because of this man.

Please, if you wish to have any rights in your birth, if you wish to leave your birth without negligent injury and to simply be treated as a human with rights, then absolutely DO NOT let this man near you or your baby.

A man who has a hatred of women and babies should not be practising in the field of obstetrician and gynaecology.

Please, please ladies do not believe the positive reviews! This man is satan himself, he is a monster and a butcher. Do yourselves a favour and see someone else for pregnancy and other issues. Also make sure you read the newspaper articles about numerous law suits filed against him, along with 'missing records' of you never attending his clinic or hospital for procedures. Cannot fathom how he still practices, the medical board should be ashamed!

Google this so called “Dr” and his history of lawsuits very, very carefully. The AMA have a lot to answer for, for allowing this MONSTER to continue to practice. This man is a butcher (literal nickname in the medical community). Please, please women beware.

I have been seeing Dr Calandra for over 30 years & find he is excellent & only Gyno I will see, also his staff as in Penny, she is so so nice& a credit to the profession. Also he is very knowledgably in all field.

Dr Claude Calandra has saved my life many times in the past 21 years. I am so grateful for his knowledge and experience and would never see anyone different. His straight to the point and has no messing around attitude is not for everyone but he will not let you down healthwise. Thank you Dr Calandra for all your support over the years with all my births and gyno issues. Thanks to you I have children now.

Dr Calandra, delivered 5 of my 9 children . 2 sets of twins first via another doctor , very esteemed in Melbourne , 3 singletons and lastly a set of twins by Dr Calandra . He saved my life and my twin daughters life and pre emptied the problem that arised early in the pregnant so was so so prepared . His bedside manner may seem off but i dont do sugar coating myself so he was a great choice for me and my life and my babies

Worst service and doctor ever, if you really care about your health and baby dont risk to go to this doctor, he is always in hurry and just 1 minute appointment ans very rude, before choosing him please read the bad reviews ladies.
