This doctor wrote false information in my therapy notes, and released these notes to my family doctor without my consent. These private informations are plastered all over my medical chart. I will be filling a complaint against this woman very soon.

I had a few sessions with her. Not very useful. Felt unfriendly. Went elsewhere. Got the treatment I needed to recover from recurrent major depression. No staff that I am aware of so 3 stars. Not enough sessions to evaluate knowledge so 3 stars as this is a required field. She did keep to our scheduled times so 5 stars.

Stay away from this doc. She will say rude things to you so you get angry and violent to get you arrested! She has psychological problems herself and she has fun bullying the heck out of you, so you feel even worse.

Wish I could give her less than 1 star.

While working with her to receive my diagnosis, she re-traumatized me by being inappropriately pointed and specific about details from my past that had nothing to do with my diagnosis. I relapsed in my self destructive behaviours because of the destress the appointments with her put me under.

I work in healthcare as well and I know the DSM-5 like the back of my hand. She read it off line by line to me and when I tried to elaborate on questions that had a more nuanced answer, I was met with an extremely cold "That's not what I asked you".

There was no follow up, no support. Not even after putting me on medication that required regular testing. I had to communicate that with my doctor to ensure I got the care I needed.

If you are in need of support I beg you to go elsewhere.

Awful patient manners. Like another user said, very good at recapping what was discussed at the previous meeting (I thought that was standard, now I know better), but useless as a psychiatrist. My husband only got worse under her care, and finally got out of his dark depression after a stay at CAMH. How can a patient be treated exclusively on the phone when dealing with psychiatric issues? It blows my mind that that was what she offered us for over a year, even after all the pandemic restrictions were lifted. Run the other way, if you can.

Dr. Zenner is not a good doctor. She is an excellent note taker! She is incredible at recapping what she said last meeting. Beyond that she has no value as a medical professional.

As a therapist she does not listen, she talks over you, she doesn't remember things you spoke about before, she does not offer any help beyond go for a walk. As a doctor she does not believe in medicines. She believes in walks. So she will not prescribe medicine, and when she does she will not monitor you. During the pandemic she refused to use a computer so I was forced to communicate by phone with her. She does not like it if you use speakerphone and she complains about the reception even though the reception is fine... like how your Grandma would.

Dr Zenner can not maintain her schedule and instead runs her practice like a Bell Field technician, she'll be available sometime in the morning.
I speak to another therapist regularly. Dr. Zenner refused to consult with that Dr. for unknown reasons.
In short I feel worse after receiving care from her for a year. And I feel very sceptical of the mental health profession because there are many people like Dr. Zenner. They are allowed to fester in their offices with no oversight. They dispense the same uninspired advice that they have dispensed for the last 30 years. It's time to move people like this out.
Do not spend your time with her, especially if you are a middle aged male. She resents you and Will Not Help You!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME — ASK FOR A DIFFERENT DOCTOR! If I could, I'd give a negative rating. Because my doctor no longer works at MG, I was told to go to Emergency to get a referral. After 6 hours, I got a referral to Zener. Zener does not listen, does not look you in the eye, doesn't listen to anything new. She just reviews your file as you sit in front of her (if you're unfortunate to have a file) & goes with previous mis-diagnosis from 10 years ago. I left her office with "write your thoughts in a journal & keep walking. Call 911 if it gets bad". Hopelessly unhelpful, close-minded, sub-standard care :(

She has constantly blamed me for my mental health issues and constantly degrades me she has no clue what she is doing or talking about baffling that she has a degree
