Dr. David Sheps was the greatest. He rebuilt my shoulder and provided amazing support through the process. WCB was trying to deny my claim and Dr. Sheps immediately recognized that my injury was recurrent from a previous workplace injury. He set WCB straight and took my case on. He and his team went above and beyond. Performed a very rare remplissage surgery as well as a standard labrum repair. His team managed my pain through complications that were not any fault of the surgeon yet they helped me through it all. 8 years later I am still thrilled by the support I recieved by the whole group. Thank you Dr. David Sheps.

If he seems arrogant it is because he IS the smartest person in the room. Listen to him and he will help you.

Dr. Sheps is the rudest and most arrogant dr I have ever seen. He is totally uncaring and not interested in patients' needs. He would not listen and is very impatient. When I said a few more sentences, he simply said I don't want to listen to you.

The staff at this doctors office is Garbage. I had a 9 am telephone appointment that they conducted at 8 am so if I would have been away from my phone because they were an hour early I would have been charged 75 dollars just because they got the time wrong. Their excuse was that they call early to prepare for Dr.Sheps who calls later. They were very rude on the phone.

Dr.Sheps himself called at 0845 or so not at nine. He himself was a bit rude and didn't seem to care that he was calling early. His information was all stuff I had heard before and his solution for my problems was take me by a special medicine to be injected from his office at cost to me instead of sending me for cortisone which is covered by Healthcare.

When I went to his office to pick up the medicine the staff were again extremely rude and even began shouting at me when I gave up and asked to speak to someone else. If I didn't think I needed medicine I would have called the police.

When I finally got my medicine I asked for a number I could call to complain about the service and they pulled a dirty trick. They gave me a number to one of the girls in the office that was there, I could tell by voice I the recording as they didn't answer the phone, instead of to a doctor or office manager who could take a complaint.

I resorted to writing this online which will likely do nothing considering how many bad reviews they get. I'm never going back.

Very arrogant, he told me my shoulder pain was nothing more than bad posture and I needed physio. When this happened I had great posture as I was body building. When I told him my posture is bad now because of the pain, I was dismissed as having an attitude and I needed to push through the pain and exercise and get physio. Considering the pain came from exercising this makes no sense.

Dr Sheps did my surgery a few years back. I cannot stress how wonderful he was and the follow up care was awesome!

This doc is walking the fine line of malpractice. Completely unprepared for appointments, extremely rude to his patients, defaults to physio for patients that have been wanting surgery for years, and barely spends any time with the patients. Doesn't introduce himself either.

I was very disappointed with the initial visit.I was told by Dr. Sheps that I was too old to have surgery on my torn tendon in shoulder. He said that I need Physio , which I had been doing. He did not listen when I told him that my injury was over 3 years before and I was having a lot of pain especially at night. I just did not want to see him again, but when I was called for a follow-up,I cried that nobody would listen to me.I did get referred to a surgeon who operated. He said that my age was not against me. I am doing very well now, completely recovered. Dr. Sheps is not a good Dr. Very arrogant!,,,,,,

Dr. Sheps operated on and reattached my right bicep muscle. Operation was 100% successful and recovery was quick and totally complete returning to original strength and abilities with no pain. I appreciated his direct and professional approach.

Spent over a year with this Dr. I had to postpone my first surgery due to personal reasons. Waited for the rescheduled date for the surgery only to have Dr Sheps go on personal leave for about 8 months roughly, I had moved in the meantime. Dr Sheps referred me to Dr Goel in Vancouver. Well Dr Goel did the exact same thing. I have now been waiting for surgery for about five years. And still no further ahead. I have now had another Dr looked into this situation and he has determined that I am being screwed around. He is now referring me to an actual surgeon who will actually look at my shoulder. Not just book appointments for no reason.
