I was Dr. McKenna's patient for over 5 years. He stopped replying to e-mails, doesn't answer his phone, and his voicemail box is full. I am blown away by his grossly unprofessional demeanor, particularly as a psychiatric doctor who is dealing with patients who need help regularly. He is frequently late, has occasionally not shown up, and if I were to miss an appointment, I was charged $200. When he misses one, it is ignored. I would not recommend him to anyone. Disappointing.

Dr. McKenna has been my doctor for many years. I think he listens, cares and as long as you stick to your scheduled time, all is well. I personally don't mind that he does not have office staff as most of them I have come across in other physician offices are rude and unskilled anyway.

Dr, McKennah never returns phone calls, and is impossible to reach, I usually have to e-mail him with a question. He has always been on time with me, but secession last about 20 min. and only for prescriptions. He is also too serious, nevers smiles. <akes me feel uncomfortable. Also, wants cash for the deductable, which seemed pretty odd.

He rarely returns emails or phone calls. He canceled my appointment 30minutes before the scheduled time. He wrote the wrong date on my prescription. Appointments last about 20 minutes. No therapy, just prescriptions.

Offices are in a shared office suite, so the staff area isn't applicable. He is knowledgeable, listens, and provides helpful insight. My experience with other psychiatrists is they can't wait to write script for antidepressants and get you on your way. He helped wean me off antidepressants, and is monitoring my progress. So far, so good!

He is probably the WORST doctor I have ever encountered in my life! He never answers his damn phone, he doesn't return phone calls/e-mails. Very unhelpful - he talks to you for like 10 minutes then rushes to prescribe you med's - he doesn't at least pretend to care about your health. Don't waste your time with him look for someone else. Oh forgot to mention - HE'S RUDE.

Dr did not return phone calls, did not help set up appointments and generally showed no interest or professionalism in managing my case. Very disturbing lack of professionalism, especially for a qualified psychiatrist working in mental health. awful experience

Dr. McKenna, while I'm sure a knowledgeable person, does not come across as approachable or professional in any way. He has a condescending attitude and treats people as if they were idiots. I would not recommend him for treatment or for use in any sort of legal case either. There are a number of other doctors out there who can be reached easier, are more helpful, and will treat you with respect.
