Just took my one month old baby in. I was appalled at how the appointment went! She was very rough in how she handled our baby girl...like she could care less about her. She was extremely rude and forceful...and when we refused shots she said "Well then you need to send a thank you note to every vaccinated kid in the world because they are the ones that are keeping your child healthy." We were so angry with the whole experience I don't know why we didn't walk out in the middle of it. She made me and my husband feel like we were abusing our child or something!! It happened yesterday afternoon and I'm still really upset about it. Needless to say I will NEVER go back there and I highly recommend you go somewhere else for your children. Extremely unprofessional and terrible. :(

I took my daughter for a bladder infection, but it took them 2 entire weeks to treat her. My daughters previous Dr. had already treated her for a bladder infection prior to bringing her to this office, I explained to Dr. Stewart that she had her urine tested at her previous doctor's office but it was also sent out because results in office looked negative when all symptoms showed she had an infection. She refused to culture her urine the first time and she made us wait another week before sending out a culture and finding my daughter DID have a bladder infection which was not showing in her office, but clearly showed when the laboratory received the urine. I received a call from the laboratory rather than my doctors office and I had to call their office to get the CORRECT medication started for this infection. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to any person. And I am a very understanding person, but this staff and Dr. are very unprofessional.

I have gone to Dr. Stewart since 2003, when my daughter was born. I haven't had much of an issue with her until now. She prescribed my daughter Zpack, but the pharmacy told me that our insurance no longer covers it. I called the doctor & asked for her to call in something else for the insurance reason. She called me back 7 hours later & was extremely RUDE!She said that I never tried to pick up the medicine, and if I had, I would know that CHIPS does cover it; how the mixed medicine is wasted now; and how I am a parent not a doctor! I told her that she better call the pharmacy right away and ask them & to NEVER call me a liar again! 10 mins later, she had a nurse call me to tell me that a new medicine was called in and that Chips does NOT cover Zpack anymore.I told her to let me speak to the doctor.I asked the doctor for an apology for calling me a liar, and she would not & acted like we never talked prior. She hung up on me when I told her she was unprofessional. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!

I have taken my daughter to Dr Stewart since she was a baby and now taking my newborn. Ive always felt very comfortable with the whole staff and always feel that she listens to our opinions and concerns. Ive gone to other medicaid doctors and they are always trying to rush you in and out. I am very happy with Dr. Stewart and will not change no time soon.

I have taken my youngest daughter to her since she was born last October. Felt very good about the Dr. at first. I took my daughter a couple weeks ago on a Monday for pink eye. Dr. Stewart said she didn't have pink eye, but had an ear infection. She prescribed her eye drops, an antibiotic and congestion meds. Two days later day care called me at work and said she was running a 102.3 fever. I took my daughter back in, along with my oldest (who now had pink eye), she seemed the least bit concerned with my ten month old, told me nothing was wrong and the day care was exagerrating her fever. The next day I kept her home from school, and her fever had not broken, I called the office at 4:00 and they said if I can get her there in 15 min they can see her, I ended up taking her to the hospital and she had bronchitis, it could have turned into phenomena. Should have known by the appearance of the office from day one. WILL NEVER TAKE MY CHILDREN BACK TO DR. STEWART

My son got very ill so I took him in and she was such in a hurry to go on her trip that she didn't give him time at all so later I took my 3 month old baby to the hospital and long story short he was diagnoised with neuroblastoma (cancer) IF only she would have made more time then she could have felt the tumor in his stomach... I mean come on she didnt even check his temp WTH?? This lady does not be a doctor especially for kids! I hope this dosent ever happen to anybody else!

She was very rude and we waited about an hour in the patient room and she only talked with us about 5 minutes when our daughter was sick. She would stop me in the middle of my sentences and interrupt me. She comes off in a rude manner. I do not like her very much but the rest of her staff is very nice.

This doctor is very unhelpful and unresponsive to simple requests such as: shot records, yearly visit reports or simple faxes to the childs daycare regarding dosage of a medicine. I truly have felt that I (my children) are not important unless I am paying for a visit. I DO NOT recommend this pediatrician to ANYONE!
