Doctor Taylor did a fantastic job removing some cancer spots on my face. What was incredible was the personal follow up after the procedure to provide results, I was out of town for a few weeks and he called back when I returned to ensure I received the results personally and offered advice for keeping on top of the issues. My experience with Dr Taylor did not built my confidence what so ever in his ability to remove my three areas of cancer. I had concerns about scarring that would be left from surgery on my face, I found his reply condescending. Patients should be able to be open and honest, Dr’s should do all they can to address concerns and anxiety about procedures without being judged or made feel you are high maintenance.
I suggest getting a compassionate specialist if you require face surgery, especially if you have concerns about the result.

I had top surgery with dr Taylor last September as a part of a gender transition and my experience was horrible . Originally he told me I needed to lose weight to get the surgery and referred me to a terrible dietician and then never followed up , I called 9 months afterward and got a surgery date before an appointment with him. Once I got the appointment it came to my attention that he had miss heard my weight as 250 when I said 215 and I didn’t actually need to go to the dietician originally .

I don’t know my exact size before surgery but I was double d at very least . All his pictures of past top surgeries were on average body type and smaller chests which made me nervous . Surgery happened and I went home to recover and I checked up with him about a week and a half later to access if I should get the drains out yet . I was very clear about how much I was draining collectively and from each side. He told me it was too much still and sent me home . I ended up having to go to Emerge a couple days later with an infected drain. That day I went to an emergency drain removal with dr Taylor . It’s clear he miss interpreted me AGAIN and thought I had been draining my collective amount out of each meaning this infection was 100 percent avoidable .

During the drain removal I asked how he would remove them and all he said is , and I quote , ‘you’ll see’. He snipped the suture holding in drain and ripped it out without warning from my infected side . I nearly screamed from the pain . He took them out and told me I could take the pain meds I had been provided by my actual doctor

After recovery it became apparent I needed a revision because the inner corner of both sides had excess fat on it , causing dysphoria still. I voiced this and he told me he will only do it under local because it’s not worth his time to put me under general , despite the fact that I have very extreme fear with sharp objects and medical procedures. Not only were those inner corners still left with fat , but my skin was pulled too tight and I had extremely limited movement in my shoulders for 8 months after the surgery which impacted my ability to work.

Not to mention he has 0 bedside manner . I wouldn’t suggest this surgeon to anyone . He made me feel unsafe , he put me in danger and I’m not happy with his work and unwilling to contact him for the revision because of his dismissal of my fears .

Dr. Taylor is exceptional and his administration assistant Larissa is lovely. Dr. Taylor is very calm and kind in his delivery and communication. More importantly, he has a vast amount of experience and is able to explain a number of options in order to receive the treatment you need. He is down to earth and very intelligent. Thank you.

I had a small excision biopsy of a benign lesion on my arm, due to cosmetic concerns. I had gone to two dermatolgists in Victoria and wasn't satisfied with either of their solutions so I decided it would be best to finally see a plastic surgeon. Dr. Taylor had more knowledge than anyone I've seen about my concerns, and a great bedside manner. He and was very understanding and reassuring, which I especially appreciate because I've never had any sort of surgical procedure before this. I may go back for a bigger procedure, and I feel completely comfortable knowing that if I were to do so, I would be in good hands.

It was quite difficult to get a hold of the staff as my phone calls weren't answered multiple times, but my appointment was scheduled very soon after I was able to get a hold of them. Overall I am very satisfied with my visit and would definitely recommend going to this doctor to anyone considering it!

Doctor Taylor did a procedure that required surgery across my mothers forehead. We were very concerned about any facial scarring. We spent hours researching a plastic surgeon, whom we thought was best. Doctor Taylor was thorough and seemed to understand our concerns. The surgical work he performed was excellent and and barely any scarring. His surgery was done with perfection. His staff were very helpful. They accomodated us to the fullest. I would highly recommend this plastic surgeon. He is the best!

Dr. Taylor has a superb bedside manner. If you happen to be awake for whatever procedure he's performing, he will distract you with interesting stories about his family adventures or the last book he read. Before you know it, the procedure will be over and you will likely look to find a comically large bandage covering your incision. It's absolutely charming! Also, he's an excellent surgeon so there's that if it's important to you.

After finally deciding to have a very sensitive and private surgery, I’m so beyond happy to have been referred to Dr. Taylor. My surgery has been life changing and I couldn’t be any happier!! He is so kind, respectful and I was completely comfortable. His assistant Erin is also great and so helpful - I would recommend Dr. Taylor to anyone. I’m so thrilled!!! :)
