Horrible doctor. The c section was awful. Cut me open while I was still in pain the medicine they gave me was not working. I will forever say this. Do not see Dr. Armada. He’s an awful ob and does not care about his patients.

Caused a massive hematoma during exploratory laparoscopic surgery. Lied to me about what happened after being rushed to the ER with internal bleeding. Diagnosed me with pelvic congestion syndrome and told me I needed a hysterectomy and he'd remove my uterus and leave my ovaries instead of referring me out to a vascular surgeon or intervention radiologist. After my first and second surgery and throughout my hospital stay and follow up visit he kept pushing to do a hysterectomy. My incision around my bellybutton ripped open and you could see to my guy and he treated it like is was no big deal. I kept pushing until I got a referral to a wound clinic. I ended up taking my surgical report to a vascular surgeon who took one look at my file and said I have veins on my ovaries so a hysterectomy would have done nothing for me. The new surgeon was able to fix my PCS by doing an embolization. He also found May Thurners which Dr. Armada would have missed as well. I now suffer from medical PTSD and have panic attacks at the doctor's office and even during hospital scenes in movies. I also now have potentially life long scar tissue pain as a result of the second surgery.

After having SPOKEN directly to Dr. Armada, I was given the information on how to have records transferred. I followed his directions to his website, signed and returned medical release form, with date of my new doc appointment, and 7 weeks later, NO RECORDS. No replies to emails. Have called his new Iowa office twice. Am now hearing we are supposed to pay $45 to a PO Box. WTF!!!

Dr. Armada has moved out of state. Obamacare was the primary reason, trying to collect from insurance companies and with patients having increased deductibles the majority of patients haven't paid their bills after receiving several statements.. One commenter stated she was owed a refund of $1400, which is not true according to our records, this patient was refunded $600 after her insurance paid her portion.

He is new to my area. All he wanted to do was push HRT and Boniva. He obviously had not read my history (I am being treated for a blood clot.) and I just did not connect with him, as he was trying to impress me--I just wanted him to talk about ME and my exam. He didn't ask about my diet or fitness routines, etc., just looking at my age and his med lists. I will not return.

I was sad to find the office was closed. I was a patient of Dr. Armada back in 1989 and off and on since I have moved in and out of the area.
