Not impressed. Seemed like he wanted to get pout of the room as quickly as possible, after making me wait 45-minutes. Staff very impatient as well.

I saw Dr. Evan Rosen at Lighthouse Urology Associates because I had a mysterious pain in my private area. A prior urinalysis I had taken before contacting Dr Rosen had come back negative and I was totally unsure what was causing the discomfort. It had become painful for me to even walk significant distances and to get up and sit down. Basically I could not live my life. As a young guy this was extremely frustrating.

I went for my first appointment with Dr. Rosen and I brought along my detailed list of symptoms. I read those symptoms to Dr. Rosen and he listened attentively and took careful notes. He asked me a few questions and performed an exam.

To my great surprise, Dr. Rosen diagnosed me with prostatitis. I had not received any previous indication before seeing Dr. Rosen that my prostate was the cause of my discomfort. Dr. Rosen treated me with antibiotics and anti inflammatory medicine. Over time my condition was successfully treated. Now I can live my life again.

My experience in dealing with Lighthouse Urology Associates was always positive. The Physician's Assistant, who is named Adrienne, was always accessible via telephone with prompt call backs within 24 hours to respond to any questions or concerns that I had. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and empathetic.

Dr. Rosen himself is a very smart guy, having attended Georgetown Medical School. He always knew the details of my case when he walked in the door for each appointment. He runs a very efficient practice. Additionally, I was a self pay patient and I found the rates to be very reasonable. If you are ever in the unfortunate position to require the services of a urologist then I suggest that you check out Dr. Evan Rosen at Lighthouse Urology Associates in Jupiter.

Dr. Rosen has no communication with his patients. Keeps you waiting forever. He did a procedure on me and told nothing about what to expect.

I've been a patient of Dr. Rosen's off and on (due to business transfers) for at least 10 years now and found him to be personable, polite, willing to take all the needed to answer my questions and extremely compassionate. I recently had to have a TURP and he and his staff bent over backwards to make the procedure and after care as pleasant and painless as possible. The results of the procedure were nothing short of a miracle and I can think of no other urologist in my experience that I would rather have done the procedure. I simply cannot say enough good things about him or his staff. I can only hope that I don't get transferred again because I doubt that I will find another urologist of his caliber or compassion without some serious looking.

I was assigned this doctor via the ER because I had a kidney stone. His bed side manner was very poor in the hospital and it continued through aftercare. He spoke in a very demeaning tone. My last straw was when I went in a few weeks after my surgery due to pain and he completely dismissed it. He gave me an ultrasound and took a urine sample (which I fully believe he did not test) and told me nothing was wrong with me. Several hours later, I am in the ER with extreme pain. The ER performs a CT scan and finds many small kidney stones in BOTH my kidneys and I have a massive UTI infection. I switched urologists right then and there. He never "listened" to my concerns, nor answered my questions fully. He was never forthcoming with information and when I asked a question, I got a very generic answer and he was out the door. His assistant is no better. Do yourself a favor.. go somewhere else!

Did not examine me, or test urine. Did not take my symptoms or pain seriously. Sent me off with no diagnosis or plan of care. I ended up in the emergency room 2 hours later with an inflammed bladder and severe UTI. When I called back to ask for a refund of my co-pay he said absolutely not and said we could sue him if we wanted, which we do not, nor would we. Not only was the care we recieved poor, but also his business protocol poor!
