Was attending physician for my husband at Dubé Centre. Was arrogant, haughty, and extremely difficult to track down to discuss my husband's case and was obvious he resented it husband's presence at Dubé . I was told by him and many nursing staff that my husband shouldn't be there, and that he could only stay 3 weeks because it's an acute care facility... and yet we met many patients who had been resident there for many months. My husband cannot speak for himself due to a severe brain injury. Dr. Lawson directed his jursy to take my health card to charge Sask Health $250.00 for the time spent with me viewing my husband's chart and then tried unsuccessfully to defraud the Saskatchewan Public Guardian and Trustee by billing for a medical report for the E.R. admitting physician. I had guardianship of my husband so the PGT forwarded the bill to me. When I questioned the validity of the billing for the report, all of a sudden the billing was a mistake and that was the end of that. I wouldn't recommend him as a doctor to seek treatment from.... however he does have a tremendous wardrobe of expensive shoes if you're into that.

I have known Dr. Lawson for 8 years now, and I can honestly say he is the most professional and caring doctor I have ever met! He takes his time with all of his patients, but he also has to make some hard decisions that effect peoples lives everyday.
I would highly recommend Dr. Lawson, he is one of the best!!

Dr. Lawson is a good person and a great psycologist who helped me immensely in my time of need. He understands what it is that makes people tick, and can help anyone, of that I am confident. He helps people out of an actual desire to see them get better, not just to get paid. Your troubles will be safe in this mans hands, I know mine were.

He is a bully and a pill pusher. He once said, "I WOULD CONSIDER YOU TO BE LESS SICK IF YOU DID NOT TALK TO THE OTHER PATIENTS." I am still traumatized by my memory of my experiences with Dennis Lawson. I still have nightmares about it.

He was pretty good. Better than the rest so far. He took a real interest in me and helped me more than anyone ever has before.

Dennis Lawson was the worst psychiatrist I have ever had. He was a bully who overmedicated me and CTO'd me. He is the resident psychiatrist at royal university hospital who sees inpatients. You do not get a choice in seeing him.
