I saw Dr. Ritchie in the LGH emergency department, after being brought in by ambulance. I came in with off the charts back pain. It was a terrible experience, he wasn't interested in doing any imaging only pushing me to take some narcotics. Seven months later another trip to hospital by ambulance. This time a different doctor ordered a CT, turns out I had 3 buldging disc's. Which I had been suffering with for seven months because of Dr. Ritchie not doing his job.

His in depth knowledge identified sepsis in my 97 year old grandfather and ultimately saved his life. I was extremely impressed with the actions he took and the confidence he gave us as a family. Thank you from the Tarrants

I saw Dr. Ritchie in the ER. He’s kind, personable, efficient without rushing the visit. He seems to truly enjoy his work and care for his patients.

I saw Dr. Ritchie and he was dismissive, he said that this was something he was not equipped to help, that it's a family doctor issue. Speaking with my family doctor he was surprised that Dr. Ritchie was dismissive and not equipped as my family doctor stated he would have to send a requisition for a CT or ultrasound at the hospital for a proper diagnosis. He said that the diagnosis Dr. Ritchie gave me only after a urine sample and blood work isn't ok and that further testing is required. It's really unfortunate that Dr. Ritchie didn't want to do further testing.

Dr, Ritchie saw my father within minutes of being admitted. He was kind, professional and answered all of my questions. He checked back often and made me feel at ease. I cannot thank him enough for doing everything necessary to ensure my dad was ok!

And speaking that we were checked into another ER for the same issue the week prior, it was easy to compare the 2 different experiences we had. I am so thankful!

Very quick to see me. However I feel he was somewhat condescending to the issues not sure if this is biased against women or if other people have had this.experience or not.
