This practice is an absolute joke. The exam room is filthy, with a human hair on the tray of instruments. The doctor barely does any exam and is rushed. The staff are rude and obnoxious.

Personal and family experience: Prescribed medication that was potentially deadly for my kidney disease twice. Incompetent with a scalpel and leaves scars. It's a chop shop. Gave no alternative for treating warts thus spreading them, causing immense pain. (Under my fingernails!) Horrid bedside manner.

Dr Woodbury recently removed with cryotherapy a large brown growth on my forehead that had been rapidly increasing in size to over an inch in diameter. A few weeks later now it's like it was never there. I am thrilled with the results!. He applied just the right amount liquid nitrogen to the area. Other dermatologists advised me not to remove it indicating it would leave the area on my forehead bright white instead of brown. Not the case. The area where it was removed looks exactly like my normal skin color. Dr Woodbury knows his craft well. He has also treated me successfully for other skin disorders. I highly recommend him. I regret going to him for my simple issue. Now I have to live with a pain he caused. I wish he had said it is not his are if he was not positive of what he was doing.

Dr. Woodbury treated me with Minocycline for 1-2 years and directly caused me to be stricken with DRUG INDUCED LUPUS, which is a systemic auto-immune disorder. When I notified Woodbury of my diagnosis and the terrible health conditions that resulted form the LUPUS he informed me that he had caused the same condition to 3 other patients in the past, but only offered the fact that this was rare as some consolation. Minocycline is a top 10 drug for causing drug induced Lupus. It took months of doctors visits and blood labs with my GP before I eventually got a rheumatologist who could diagnose me. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Danehower for helping me treat this condition. All told, I will be taking drugs for over a year to treat the Lupus, but it is expected to go away entirely. At no point did Dr. Woodbury order blood labs for me despite the known elevated risks during prolonged use. The systemic drug induced Lupus caused Liver function problems, swelling in my feet, knees, ankles, legs. It caused debilitating stiffness in my knees, and hands to the point I could not use my right hand. It caused my eye to throb and swell shut. Walking was strained and exercise was out of the question in the months until I was diagnosed. The whole Drug induced Lupus process of identifying the problem required dozens of trips to doctors and blood labs. My blood labs and liver function returned to normal almost immediately after stopping the minocylcine that Woodbury personally prescribed and signed off on the individual refills every time.

Woodbury is a danger to his patients. He never adjusted his practice after injuring his other patients with Drug Induced Lupus and therefore I was injured by his refusal to order blood labs to protect his patients. DO NOT CONSIDER DOCTOR ROBERT WOODBURY when looking for a Dermatologist. He also takes zero responsibility for the damage his patients suffer.

My deductible of $6,000 has been maxed for the year. Choosing Dr. Woodbury as your dermatologist may be a lot more costly than you realize. Look elsewhere.

My family have been going to Dr Woodbury for many many years. He is one of a rare dermatologist who is not out to make money. I can’t praise him enough as a doctor. He is a real no none sense doctor.

I had Dr. Woodbury growing up when I had acne issues and he always treated me well. I think for some other problems listen below, the patient could have underlying issues and the prescriptions might not have worked for them alone. Sometimes it is more about dietary changes as well and if those type of people failed to take into account their overall health, systemically, then they were not treating themselves with all the necessary provisions one has to make in order to make in order to make a recovery from acne issues. I now still see him as an adult and so does my family. He treated me for wrinkles and I recently got badly scratched and he gave me a prescription that helps the healing process that I notice dramatically as my prescription has evened out the area of skin in texture. Besides that I get treated for mild acne still and my prescriptions lotion prescriptions work great and so does my other prescription for lotion as I have many allergies regarding regular creams sold in pharmacies. I'm completely allergic to creams and have been prescribed Desonide lotion for my cream the last several years and it works awesome for my sensitive skin. Lastly, I would rate the bookings and punctuality top marks because they have a busy office and I get in next day. He also provides referrals locally when you have issues beyond the scope of dermatology, but still related to the skin, which is nice of him.
