Dr. Nealis is amazing. He took a patient that had an implant abutment showing in her nostril. He did not do this implant. He removed it and worked on bone grafting to handle the problem created by another surgeon. He is professional and creative in his approach to this problem. This man is an excellent surgeon and you will be in good hands with him. I highly recommend him to others!!!

My son had a severe under bite along with impacted wisdom teeth, and his teeth laid slanted more to one side. We were referred to Dr. Nealis first to remove all 4 impacted wisdom teeth. Next his Orthodontist spent a year straightening his slanted smile. Finally he was ready for jaw surgery to correct under bite. Dr. Nealis performed his jaw surgery and re-shaped the position of his upper teeth so that his bottom teeth would fit like a glove. His jaw plates were sliced and also re-aligned. It was painful to say the least and we knew this going in to surgery, but it was worth the entire process and pain. My son was left with a smile that was so perfect it was beyond a blessing to have met Dr. Nealis. Dr. Nealis has also pioneered and patented numerous jaw surgery procedures...while sitting in his office we were reading about his work and I knew my son was in good hands and he was....Carol

On my 50th birthday, I accidently fell over my soundly sleeping dog I had adopted only 2days prior.Natures' flight or fight syndrome automatically kicked in and my dog delivered onesingle yet devasting bite resulting in 2/3rd lower lip amputated. Naturally, I was certain my face was permanently ruined and the ER Dr had a difficult situation to deal with-made even more desperate as the e r visit was about 6pm on Fri. He was familiar with Dr. Nealis' excellent professional rep..called this wonderful doctor -already enroute toRampage Hoc key's opening season event, serving as the professional team's physcian! Dr.Nealis graciously agreed to immeadiatley see me ; despite already in route to AT&T center -in traffic navigate cross city to med ctr hospital - not even his official hospital of choice! In a few minutes he was there explaining the damages done, surgery required and prognosis, risks. He restored my face100%.Fantastic,kind incredble dr & ofc mgr as wonderful as he is! So thankfulto'em

I went to Dr. Nealis to get my wisdom teeth removed. I had two wisdom teeth on the bottom left, one was breaking through my gums, and the other was underneath. So they had to put me under and cut open me open. After the surgery, and after my wound healed, I went to my regular dentist to get x-rays, and my dentist found out that Dr. Nealis left a piece of the tooth in my gum. I had to go back and have the piece removed, so they had to put me under AGAIN, cut my gum open AGAIN and I had to go through the healing process (swollen cheeks and bleeding) AGAIN!!! Will never go back to him. Other than that, his staff was great.

Dr. Nealis and his staff are the best!! I have never been to a more relaxing Dr. appointment. The visit I had been post-poning for years was made comfortable by Dr. Nealis and Lisa. I would recommend Dr. Nealis for anyone who needs oral surgery.

Dr Nealis is a great oral surgeon. He answers all my questions and is never in a hurry when he sees me. I have never dealt with a better dr in all my years. A more patient Dr I have never met. Thank you Dr Nealis for your wonderful care. His treatment has helped me tremendously and I am looking forward to having the other side of my jaw corrected. I give Dr Nealis the highest rating there is.

Dr Nealis performed TMJ surgery on me Aug 11, 2010. He's a great Dr. and took excellent care of me. His staff on the other hand, I'm very disappointed in. I've been trying to schedule another surgery since Oct. I left more than 3 messages and never got an answer. I finally went down to the office to speak to the receptionist. She scheduled my surgery for Nov. 10. Today is the 9th of Nov and I still don't know whether the insurance approved it or not. I took it upon myself to call Humana, and they tell me they have no record of the Dr's office sending in any request for surgery. I called the Dr's office yesterday Nov 8th and I was told I would be called right back. Didn't happen. I don't know what exactly is going on with the staff at the Dr's office but I am left hanging not knowing what to do. I have family that is coming in from out of town and arrangements to make. I don't know what else to do or who to call. I've left a msg for Dr Nealis as a last resort. I'm waiting.

The service was staff really awesome. The surgery went great and the recovery wasn't too bad. I told all my friends to go see Dr. Nealis for their wisdom teeth.

Watch out for Nealis. He performed two surgeries on me (well, twice I was put under). I did NOT authorise one of the procedures within the first surgery. He RMEOVED my jaw-joints and tried to replace with them two of my ribs. He also removed a part of my hip fat and it never healed (this is the surgery he didn't advise me of). The jaw needed to be repaired within 6 months (my new "joints" had "melted away"; became "cortical tubes". The hip, as it had not healed, had to be repaired by a reconstructive surgeon in Austin. Nealis also wired me shut and could not remember that he had done this and other surgery to remove the arch-bars and wires. When I asked, for the first time, why my face/jaw was looking so deformed, he became abusive and mean to me; instead, sent me to another doc and simply refused to see me again. I was left in much worse shape than when I first went in! I found a doc to fix this stuff and Nealis stepped in to ruin my chances! Cowboys as surgeon is a BAD thing!
