DR. HOUSE ROCKS. He needs to ge this life back together with Dr. Cutty. Although, the show was a little more borign when he had his relationship with her, he is just too much of a mess now without her !!!
Dr. Tullman is a fantastic doctor that we are so sorry to hear is moving back to his hometown. My husband and I are forever greatful to him for being the one to diagnos his MS 3 years ago. He was very compassionate, amazingly knowledgeable and we were so lucky to have him. We will miss him so much and do not know where we will go from here? What a loss he is to all of his patients.
I've never had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. House directly, but from what I've seen: I BELIEVE HOUSE COULD CURE CONGENITAL ANENCEPHALY! He can work on me anytime and be as rude as he likes as long as he cures what ails me. Gregory darling, if things don't work out with Cutty, I'm right here! (P.S. It's not true - not all patients lie. I would never lie to you, sweetheart!)
Dr. House is an excellent diagnostician. Although he has what appears to be a gruff bedside manner, in actuality, he is trying to convince his patients that his diagnosis is correct and is necessary to save a life. If needed, he will go head to head with his boss to convince her that the test he needs to diagnose his patient is the only way, even if it seems to be dangerous or unnecessary. He has also risked his license and career to do what is best for his patients. A doctor like this is a once in a lifetime and anyone who needs his help is very fortunate to have Dr. House in their corner. His job starts where other doctor's jobs leaves off.
I'm in desperate need of a GYN. Stat. Either that or I need to get spayed. You missed one extremely important category above - hotness. Crappy bedside manner, but extremely hot. Um, "punctuality"? I never SAW House - just the security officers as they dragged my stalking self away & filled out the restrainng order. Next time, I'll disguise myself as Wilson.
Wow! Dr. House is actually LYME-literate! I went to over twenty nit-wits. I was misdiagnosed with MS, Parkinson's, ALS, Fibromyalgia, CFS, Lupus, Alzheimer's, TMJ, Rheumatoid Arthritis, etc. I was even told it was "all in my head"! And that I was going to need a shrink! I was finally diagnosed by Dr. House. Amazing! He is one of the few LYME-literate doctors in this country. A country where LYME disease is running rampant! It is an epidemic larger than AIDS! Now I know why I wasn't diagnosed. There is NO reliable test for LYME disease. Not everyone gets the bull's eye rash. Ticks carry more than LYME bacteria. Ticks carry microorganisms that cause other diseases. Thank God Dr. House is affiliated with ILADS and not the IDSA. If he followed the guidelines that the IDSA concocted in 2006 I'd be DEAD! Thank You Dr. House for your affiliation with ILADS! You are saving my life! Dr. House has shown all of his colleagues the documentary "Under Our Skin". He wants them to be LYME-literate!
In more than one episode of House, a patient has a seizure, and the doctors shove a spoon in the patient's mouth. This is not the right thing to do--it's more likely to cause extra damage than prevent it--and that is a well-established fact in the medical community. Don't the writers even look this sh*t up? I don't appreciate the show perpetuating incorrect and potentially harmful ideas.
Dr. House seems to have an invisible friend. That disturbs me. Perhaps it's related to the many pills he takes during consults. Furthermore, he discusses private issues in his soap-opera-like life in front of patients and everyone else. He diagnosed my uncle (who looks a lot like Karl Reiner) with pancreatic cancer, when it was actually chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction, which scared the S**T out of the old man...he almost had a stroke!! If he had, we'd all be rich. Can't complain myself, though. Despite his insanity, I was diagnosed with a curable tropical disease based on the fact that Dr. House noticed I winked at a candy-striper. I owe my life to that nutcase. Oh, and I have a major, throbbing crush on him.
I knew Dr. Gregory House while he was still Dr. Gracey House. After his sex change operation, I think that his doctoring skills have deminished. As a woman Dr, he was more concerned about my large wort, the size of a grape, on my nose. Now he just says that it's not noticable.
