Rating Feedback for Dr. Holm (1010497)

'Dr. Holmes only cares about his money. He will do anything to get you in the office, wheather the visit is covered or not, then hound you nonstop until he gets his money. His visit was 100% useless, and did not help at all. I understand he used to be a surgeon, but now he is not allowed to perform surgery, and has resorted to prescription drug dealing. The other comment, was probably written by him.'

The above patient is well known to me. He finally paid his bill 6 months after he was seen in the office after significant difficulty in trying to get him to pay his bill because he would not follow his insurance carrier's instructions, let alone their requests. His office visit lasted over an hour and was completed in less than 6 days from the day he called to request his visit. Although the patient does not understand neurological surgery, it is the surgican and non-surgical treatment of the brain, spinal cord, and associated supportive structures, i.e. skull and spine. The patient was informed that he did not have a surgical lesion. I did not deal prescription drugs to him because he did not need any because he was advised there was nothing terribly wrong with him. As far as the other comment, not knowing what he is talking about, I have no reason to agree with him. Likewise, I elected to stop performing surgery because of the PA malpractice fiasco in 2002.
