I have been going to Dr. Davis now for about 15 years. I have some alignment issues with my back, that, if I am stupid and don't pay attention, can result in alot of pain. The first time I walked in to his office, I could barely get out of my car to walk to the door. He did his treatment on me which is painless, unintrusive, and what I call a "non cracker" . When he was done, he just reached out his hand and said, "ok, you can get up" I thought he was crazy. But, to my surprise, I was almost completely pain free, and only had to go back once and I was done. Before I went to him, I was going to chiropractors that crunched, cracked, pounced, only to sometime suffer more pain. His wife/receptionist is a dream come true, smart, funny, with a wicked sense of humour. She has given me great follow-up advice, especially on how to be comfortable on an airplane, with some very easy exercises. Sometimes you have to wait, small price to pay, for someone who is ridding you of alot of pain... hats off to both of them !
Dr. Davis is a miracle worker. Quiet, unassuming, yet a caring and compassionate man, his skill and knowledge has made a vast difference in my life. Maureen, his receptionist, takes a personal interest in the patients and I've never felt less than important and respected as a patient. Highest recommendation.
This office is a very special place, I have been a patient for over 15 years , and any waiting is worth it. Dr. Davis gives EVERY patient the time that is required for them at every appointment. Most of us are aware that we may be waiting awhile because there may be more time required with the patients he is seeing, and when it's our turn, we will get the same, courteous, wonderful treatment. My advice to everyone I refer, is to bring a book, be a patient understanding patient and you will get much more than that in return ...... I try not to stay away too long and like to have a regular check to make sure I'm all good. Thank you Dr. Davis for all the years that you have helped me.
Dr. Davis is fantastic, but his receptionist Maureen is a nightmare. She seems to be his wife, cant imagine why he would give her so much power over his patients otherwise. If you dare to ask how long the wait will be (even if you're early or on time for your scheduled appt., expect to wait 30-60 min) she chews patients out and threaten to send them elsewhere. And I've also witnessed her punish those patients she dislikes by ignoring them while they wait patiently in front of her at the front desk to pay, and she chitchats about the weather. Ive even seen patients just walk to the door without paying, after waiting 20 min to pay while she rudely ignores them. Some suck up to her, call her the queen, diva, while she preens with her "power". Pathetic, I'm not the only one who got fed up and left.
Dr. Davis has helped when no one else could -- having a serious head injury, head having hurt for almost 2 years non-stop, I only needed two adjustments (amazingly gentle adjustments) before my head finally stopped hurting. I'm still getting treatments from him and feel my health improve with each visit. He's been a miracle worker for me. His wait times can be lengthy as he gives each one of his patients the amount of time they need to ensure the most effective treatment -- bring a book. I'm full of joy and gratitude to have functionality and health back in my life. For the quality of treatments he provides, he is amazingly affordable! I highly recommend him.
Dr Davis is very efficient and very gentle and helpful, and unexpectedly funny despite being a man of few words. His secretary is also incredibly warm and helpful. I had been to see a series of osteopaths who helped my issues but could not fix them, and he set me right in a couple of treatments. Such a joy to feel balanced again, I am now able to be much more physically active! Wait times in my case were comparable to any other physician and nothing to worry about, especially for the quality of work he does.
I call Dr. Davis 'the miracle worker'. 20 years ago after a difficult labour with my son I tried everything from Acupuncture to hypnosis to alleviate my back and neck pain. I was finally directed to Dr. Davis...within 3 sessions i was fixed. Years later I finally convinced my brother to go after listening to years about his bad back...you would think he invented him. The long wait...who cares....it is worth it when you know that at the end of the visit you will be pain free...read a magazine, bring a book, close your eyes and relax while you're waiting. the greatest thing is that you are really 'fixed' when you leave...none of this 'come back every other day for the next ten days. Dr. John Davis is the best. Some times it is years between visits. My only fear is that he will retire!! Thanks Dr. Davis for our pain free lives!
Dr.Davis is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and extremely skillful in his treatments.if treatment is not required, he only charges a very small fee for the check up. He is the only person who solved my leg length discrepancy I had only been able to climb up and down stairs one leg at a time and when he treated my neck it straightened my spine, I went home and climbed the stairs normally and didn't even realize it until I was at the top. I bet I climbed those stairs 10 times in a row just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. His wait times aren't too bad if you can get an early appointment, when I have to wait, I know that he is taking good care of people.I think he's a miracle worker....his treatments are worth every penny and every minute waited. If you are lucky enough to go to Dr. Davis, you have an excellent opportunity to really feel better. Sandra F.
Have been to other upper cervical chiropractors and Dr. Davis is definitely the best. His adjustment technique is so light you won't believe anything has been done but it makes a world of difference. He is extremely caring and knowledgeable and I highly recommend him. Be prepared to spend time in the office though, both waiting for your appt and during your treatment...he doesn't rush people through like his patients are on an assembly line (unlike some other doctors). FYI: it is likely that x-rays will be required so your initial visits could be costly...don't let that put you off, if you are in pain it is well worth it!
