At first I was a little worried about the referral I had to take my daughter to Dr. weinburger office because of reading these reviews. I did it anyway and I am so glad I did! He was wonderful, my daughter usually hates dentist but somehow he had her smile, it cost me a bit more money but him and his assistant talked me through everything and made sure I was aware of the sedation and the treatment chosen. My insurance only covers 80% but for his friendliness and by all the diplomas on the walls in the waiting room I am glad to pay the 20% out of pocket!!!
Do not trust this guy! Sketchy! Expensive! Unnecessary work recommended! Glad I was smart enough to read reviews and not go any further with this horrible person! Makes me sick how we trust these people with our precious children and then try to mess us over and possibly harm our children! STAY AWAY! Tons of awesome dentists around!
Worst experience ever! quoted $7527 for work on my TWO yr old. They refused a payment plan for me AND called Childrens Aid after I declined to use them and asvised them I would take my business elsewhere. SAVE YOURSELVES AND YOUR CHILDREN THE AGGRIVATION OF THESE CLOWNS!
Dr. Weinberger is so much more knowledgeable than my general dentists.
I was so happy to be provided with many options to sedate my child - Dr. Weinberger offers general anesthetics in his office - no need to go to the hospital.
The front staff explained everything to me so clearly - a little bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend him to anyone else who was looking for orthodontic care for their child.
Please go elsewhere. Severly expensive and unnesessary. The office may be pretty and the staff may appear helpful but you will pay 4 x as much as anywhere else in the city.
Took my son to see Dr. Weinberger after a referral from our family dentist. Dr. Weinberger quoted us almost 5 thousand dollars worth of dental work required, totally unreasonable and totally unnecessary. We took our son back to our family dentist who was appalled at the cost and the scope of work we were told needed to be done. Our own dentist told us that this was not the work necessary. What bothers me is that if we had not questioned or got a second opinion we would have put our child through so much unnecessary work. Also, how much money is being made for unnecessary work?
Dr. Weinberger was not just very professional he was kind and patient with my 4 year old. His staff are wonderful, Kaila is amazing with children and making the parents feel at ease. they were punctual and even less expensive then they quoted. I would recommend him over and over.
Dr. Weinberger and his staff members that I interacted with (in particular Kaila) were not only professional and very knowledgeable, but also incredibly friendly and helpful to both the patient (my 3 year old son who needed sedation to undergo the complicated procedure) and the parents (my wife and I). They explained the entire procedure in detail with the various possible reactions that my son might have before, during and after the procedure. Because of the severity of my son's problem, I was given a very timely appointment. We did not have to wait as is so often the case with doctors and dentists and the procedure was performed quickly and well. My son had no adverse reactions. I have no hesitation in giving Dr. Weinberger my very highest recommendation.
Terrible! Terrible! Experience! My daughter was referred to Weinberger as her adult teeth were coming in crowded, Weinberger assured me he would do preorthodontic work which would cost me less in the future. What he did was remove one of her front bottom adult teeth, I got a 2nd opinion, they were horrified, how do you get teeth centered in the front when you have 5 teeth not six? The new dentist has placed a expander in her mouth to make space for the teeth coming out. Evey checkup with Weinburger cost more than $600 just for xrays and cleaning, no work. The staff could never get my payment processed through to my medical correctly, I had to keep paying huge fees out my own pocket. One invoice the staff thought they had submitted it correctly to my medical, but had not, I promptly got a lawyers letter in the mail informing me that if I do not pay immediately that action will be taken against me.
My 4-year-old son was referred to Dr Weinberger following his first visit to our family dentist. The family dentist noticed that he had two teeth that had not grown in properly and mentioned he would likely need sedation to fix the teeth. I was informed before the appointment that there would be a $185 consultation charge. No problem, I thought, my insurance will cover it. However Dr. W insists on calling what he does a Primary Exam (the same thing my son had just had done at the family dentist, and which most insurance will only cover once every 3 years). There is another code he could have used, for 'Specific Exam' however he refuses to. (It would make no financial difference to him). I had scheduled my son for $1200 worth of surgery but after this took my business elsewhere. Another local pediatric dentist was more than happy to submit his consultation fee ($175) to the insurance as a 'Specific Exam' and I was reimbursed at 90%. Not happy.
