this doctor was great I had just moved into the area and didn't know whether or not I could find a family doctor after a couple calls and some searches I managed to find dr. sekhon and book and appointment with him fairly quickly. when I got there I was taken in ten minutes before my apt time which was nice. I did the initial meet and greet and went back to him another few times to follow up on the tests he ordered to make sure I was healthy. looking forward to seeing him again should any problem come up.

My story happened in 2014, when I had noticed an odd discolouration on my shoulder, after reading about everything it could be online I decided to go to my family Doctor to see what could be done about it, after waiting 2 weeks my doctor still had not returned, so off to a walk-in clinic I went, I walked in and was greeted with smiles from staff, as about 15 minutes passed by I was quickly seen by Dr. Sekhon, who gave me some ointment and sent me away. After a few uses the discolouration "seemed" to have gone away, but in the following few months it had returned again, I had some ointment left behind from the last time so I used it again and after applying it a few times as I previously did, the ointment did not work. Back to my doctors office, facing yet again the same problem of waiting 2 weeks for an appointment, so I went back to the same walk-in clinic as they served me well there. The staff were very pleasant to deal with again and after about 10 minutes I was seen again by Dr. Sekhon, who immediately did a biopsy being concerned after remembering he had seen me previously regarding the same issue. He told me I'd be contacted in about 2 weeks when the results showed up and not to worry till his office called. 48 hours had passed by and I was not expecting this but, his office called and said I needed to come see him regarding the biopsy. I went to his office within the next few hours and he took me in right away and sat me down. At this point I was a little worried considering how urgent this sounded. He told me the skin discolouration was a type of cancer, as I started to tear up, he reassured me that because we caught it in the early stages we could easily get rid of it with some minor treatment. I was over joyed with this news, and am now happily living cancer free. I owe it all to Dr. Sekhon for taking care of me so well. I'm in the process of making him my family doctor as luckily he is still accepting new patients.

I have been a patient of Dr Sekhon when he did not have a proper office in Ajax and it was in the process of being built. Health care connect gave me his information. When I first went to meet him his office was quite cheesy and did not give a good impression, however he explained to me that this was temporary and that the new facility will be ready by June and had all other facilities in the same building that included radiology, laboratory and pharmacy etc. Since he was relocating and until his main ajax office was ready he was only available on Thursdays and Fridays which I didn't mind because I am generally a healthy person . He told me everything about himself and I was quite happy with his attitude and general personality . So far he has wen great New office in ajax is great. Never had any problem with appointment a and with waiting for him. He is experienced doctor and knows his stuff.Caught a few things that I had ignored and I am quite impressed by him. He is accepting now Pts

Saw Dr Rajinder Sekhon at the new Weston Walk-In Clinic with my daughter 3 weeks ago & he examined a suspicious mole on my arm & deemed it not cancerous. We registered as new patients happily as he's right across the street from our house. Dropped in again 6:30 pm today. Dr Sekhon was gone. Flashing signs still said accepting new patients, open to 8 pm, open Sat/Sun. None of this was true! Our registrations had disappeared along with Dr Sekhon & we were not in the database. My daughter filled out another registration card & then this new doctor interrupted the receptionist to tell her he was NOT accepting new patients! We had waited in there a half hour for a rude fraudulent doctor who had decided he simply didn't want us! Dr Sekhon supposedly went to Ajax & just abandoned us & all the other new patients of this clinic. Unbelievable! It should be illegal for a doctor to have misleading advertising like this & treat people this way!

He left Windsor in April 2014. Before he left I asked for my file. I was told by the receptionist that half of it was in storage. So he just ups and leaves without any concerns for his patients and there needs. ?? however he is a great doctor medically. I do miss him and wish him all the best. Infact I hope he comes back. Glad we don't have to deal with his ****y receptionist anymore!

I was referred to Dr. Sekhon in Ajax through Healthcare Connect. I went to meet him, he was 40mins late, but his receptionist seemed nice and I thought Dr. Sekhon was understanding and knowledgable. He told me his permanent clinic wouldn't be ready until May. He had concerns about my thyroid, and scheduled a blood and urine test. He said he would follow up once he had the results. Went for my blood test, 2 weeks go by, never heard back. Called the office, the receptionist said my results are fine. I say I need a follow up. She called back to ask where I had gone for my test (guess they never received my results). Said she'd call me back. Nope. A week later I called her, "Your test results couldn't be more perfect!" Says she'd get me an OBGYN. 2 weeks go by, no one calls. I call her again, she said she'd follow up with them. Never heard from anyone. Called Service Ontario to take me off of his patient list. Turns out he moved his practise to Toronto, not Ajax. I was never informed.

I was referred to Dr. Sekhon via Health Care Connect. He now works out of Ajax. His first appointment was scheduled for 9pm, he showed up to the office at 9:40am. When is it was finally my turn, he spoke a lot about himself, then asked me about my nationality and proceeded to make an unprofessional off-hand comment. Because I was pregnant, he told me I needed to see him on a weekly basis and absolutely no OB/GYN would see me until he completed all necessary tests. That was a load of baloney; I went to a walk-in clinic and got an appointment within 3 weeks without any tests. Also, he only works on a Friday, so if you get ill on a Saturday, you will have to wait until at least the following Friday to see him. I will never go back and would not refer anybody either.

I am in the middle of filing a complaint with the College of Physicians and Surgeons.I had such an embarrassing, private problem in my female area. I went to the TMC clinic and Dr. Sekhon told me I had an abscess and he would have to freeze the area and incise it. I asked if I went to the ER would they give me sedation so I wouldn’t have to go through the pain and he told me they would do the same thing in the ER. So, I went through with his barbaric treatment. I received a lidocaine shot and he squeezed it and I felt EVERYTHING. The lidocaine was pointless, so I went through that for nothing. In fact, he made it WORSE. When I saw him a few days later he wanted to do it AGAIN! I just left and went to the ER and staff was shocked with how he used no sedation. At the ER, they gave me IV sedation, incised it and then I received CCAC care. This man is misleading and cruel. Please, file your complains to the College of Physicians and Surgeons. This man is disgusting.

I have no doubt he's very knowledgeable. However, when I called him in June (June 10th) because I had a bad cough from a likely respiratory infection, he told me to come right in and see him... on July 3rd. Sorry bud, gonna be getting a new family doctor.

Dr. Sekhon's receptionist is the rudest person ever experienced in the Windsor medical environment.
