Dr. Raval did my colorectal surgery in July 2013 as I was diagnosed with early stage colon cancer. Dr. Raval did an excellent job. I did not feel any pain at all after the surgery. A few months ago, I had a colonoscopy done. It appears that I am cancer free. I am so happy that Dr. Ravel and his team took very good care of me. Thank you, Dr. Ravel and your team.

I just had a five month check to see how the surgery had healed. I can't tell you how happy I was when I observed the images of the surgical site. Dr. Ravel did an amazing job of removing the very large polyp and suturing it so that the lining of the rectum remained smooth, just as if there had been no polyp there. I can highly recommend this surgeon, thank you Dr. Ravel.

I had TEM surgery this morning and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. I was prepared for a more extensive surgery but to my delight my surgery seems to have been less extensive then what might have been. I am so happy that Dr. Ravel and his team took such good care of me. He is more personable than many other specialists. I would highly recommend him.

Two words: My hero. Two surgeons and two BC Cancer Agency doctors wrote me off as having incurable cancer. My family doctor sent me to Dr Raval as a last ditch. He performed a 12 hour operation on me and CURED my cancer. I didn't need chemo afterward. Here I am 4 years later and just had a bunch of tests that showed I am still cancer free. If I didn't meet Dr. Raval I would not have seen my son graduate law school, my youngest daugther married, and the birth of my grandchildren. All of cannot express our gratitude enough - I am welling up with tears as I write this. The words "My Hero" are thrown around too much but people like Dr. Raval who skilfully, but without fanfare, keep families from being torn apart by cancer don't hear it enough. And he practices his craft with style, grace, and a calming presence that I get to see every 6 months when I see him for followup - I bring someone along every visit to show off the man who saved my life. Thank you Dr. Raval!

DR. Raval was the best Surgeon that I have ever encountered. He removed extensive adhesions and scarr tissue that was causing a bowel obstruction. His staff is exceptional and very efficient. Dr. Raval is very forthright yet caring in his approach and all of my questions were answered before the surgery, in hospital and after going home. I had excellent care in St.Paul's hospital thanks to Dr.Ravals team, all the residents, and the staff that I came in contact with.

Excellent doctor. I just found this site to find his phone#. Dr. Raval did my colorectal surgery in '07. I was fitted in very quickly after my colonoscop showed cancer. I had a bag for nearly a year. I felt very confident in Dr. Raval's hands. It has been 5 years now and I feel fit and healthy today. I could not be more grateful for being referred to Dr. Raval.

Dr. Raval was absolutely fantastic! He got me in very quickly, was very compassionate, and even has a sense of humour. He removed my colon, and I'm healing very quickly. I have my next two surgeries with him and I don't think I would trust anyone else with these procedures; he's extremely talented. I would recommend him to anyone.
