I had to switch doctors because I could not stand how rude his front desk employees are- ALL of them!!
I like dr tuttleman but it is impossible to get an appointment with him because of my schedule.
I have left his office in tears because of his rude staff. By the way, I did cry in the office before while one of the front desk girls questioned the reason I was crying, asking what is wrong with me. Sorry lady, you are not a doctor, why would I sure that information with you.
I honestly do not know how tuttleman could be as busy as he is with the staff he employees. Maybe they can not get a secretary job anywhere else and he feels sorry for them so he keeps them around... Even though they are ruining his business.
Doctor tuttleman maybe knowledgable but I agree with a prior post, he is a bit creepy.
I'm very happy I have found a new, much more professesional doctor.
The most stressful visit a woman makes is to the gynecologist. Dr Ronald Tuttelman is reassuring, kind and thorough. I have found a great ally in Dr Tuttelman and his fine staff. His care is empeccable.
I met Dr. Tuttelman when my gynecologist had misdiagnosed a serious condition from which I was suffering. I have been Dr. Tuttelman’s grateful patient during the past 17 years. Dr. Tuttelman helped my husband and me through my struggles with infertility and thanks to Dr. Tuttelman’s unparalleled medical knowledge, humor, and encouragement, I was able to conceive and deliver our son 15 years ago. Dr. Tuttelman also performed a much needed hysterectomy using the Da Vinci robot reducing my recovery time to only 2 weeks out of work. I have personally witnessed Dr. Tuttelman’s and his staff’s 100% commitment to his patients. Their Fort Lauderdale office is adorned with holiday cards with pictures of many of the children (some now wearing their college caps and gowns) that he has delivered over the years sent by grateful parents.
I went to him for a second opinion and I never left. He agreed that I needed surgery. I stayed with him because he spent more time with me for a consult than my own doctor did. In addition, he uses the Davinci robot and I only needed 3 weeks off instead of the 4-6 I was looking at with my old doctor. He actually talks to you like a person and his office worked hard to get me a surgery time that worked for my husband and me, not just the doctor. If you need surgery, get another opinion. I am so happy I did!
I have been a long time patient of Dr Tuttelmans and can't begin to tell you how wonderful both he and his staff are! He actually treats his patients with respect, spends time with them, and listens. Looking forward to another 25 years!
Dr. Tuttleman himself is alright, I suppose.. A little on the creepy side. His manner, the way he looks at you, the fact that he acts as if he knows what's wrong. That's fine, though in my case, he didn't know and thus scheduled me for an outpatient biopsy, in a hospital that he would do.
However, he DOES NOT TAKE COMMON CO-PAYS.
Therefore, you are charged on your first time, $60, after that $30, and the outpatient biopsy would be $200.
So this guy gets his money one way or the other.
Which brings me to his staff, which you must deal with in every doctor's office.
Tuttleman refuses to deal with the payments or scheduling himself and his office "right hand" girl is the epitome of unprofessionalism, patronage, and rudeness.
She wanted me to work out some scam she set up that involved my GP running tests necessary for surgery, instead of Tuttleman. In other words, she wanted me to do her job (dirtywork) for her. When I asked her why I had to do her job, she screamed at me in front of patients and staff and the secretary (this English guy also with a siimilar attitude) told me I owed her an apology. So I apologized and still she continued to berate me until I said just to give me my records and I left.
Tuttleman, who could not have missed her shrieking if he tried, hid out in the back of the office.
I am 100% positive this is not the first time this girl had done this as she was so obviously comfortable while doing so.
Which leads me to believe that the reviews listed here and otherwise online are fake.
Google this doctor. He has too many reviews, and far and away too many A++ ones for it to be real.
Very sad. I might have put up with creepy, but never with audacity such as this bottom feeder gave me.
I met Dr Tuttleman when my insurance changed and I'm sure glad I did. I think they threw away the mold after they made him. He actually explains things in terms you can understand. My husband called him and he patiently explained everything to him also.Who does that? In the hospital, it was obvious that the staff really liked him which made me feel great as a patient. " You're Dr Tuttleman's patient? You're in good hands." He is smart, caring and funny and I'm so glad I found him
I originally met doctor Tuttlemen in the emergency room. I had terrible pain, and the doctors there called him because they wanted a gynecology expert to help them. He found my problem, and rushed me in to emergency surgery. It was a Sunday evening, and he controlled a surgery robot to take out a huge growth they found. I went to see him and his staff at his office a few days later to go over the results from the surgery and to look at my belly. I was walking the morning after surgery, left the hospital later that night, and never had any real pain. I had some discomfortable feeling in my belly, but little tiny holes he used. Anyway, when I went to his office, the results were the worst possible news. The growth they took out was a cancerous tumor. He called my primary doctor, his nurse practitioner Rich sat with me and explained everything to me again. They both gave me lots of time to answer all of my questions. They answered my sisters questions on the phone when I had he call back. He called my doctor right in the room with me, they got other doctors to help me with the cancer, and I have been cancer free for 8 years now. I had been to the emergency room previously that month, they gave me pain medication and medication because I was throwing up, then they sent me home. This may sound a little strong, but I thank Ron Tuttlemen for saving my life. My sister and daughter go to him. If you have seen other doctors, and they don't know how to help you, or can't find what is wrong with you, I can tell you first hand, I would send you to him, and fast. My daughter is going to have her first baby, he will delvier it, and I will be there. I am alive and able to be there because of him. Thank you to him and his workers who I have gotten to know, and they know my family. They are like family.
