I saw Dr Kim for YEARS and I recently called to see if I could start seeing him again. I should have none better. First, I called a good 3 weeks in advance to make sure there would be no problem 1st call back was told the girl that does this does them on Fridays wait she'll call me... Then we wait, husband says they say I'm was #52 of 108 what the hell does that mean? So then 6 days later the girls Says "she missed her appointment" he says "she never had an appointment I'm calling from our Drs office to make sure you got the referal and understand it" "oh, your right! Sorry!" My nurse laughs and says "really? Are you SURE you want to do this again?" I think she's right! The last time he got me so addicted that I left so angry after 3 years of management in one appointment set up to the visit with him it all came tumbling down! I found another doctor to take me off 40mg of OC 3x daily btw: the hospital wouldn't give that dose!!! He is irresponsible.

Dr. Kim's staff are the rudest people. Entire staff really needs to learn about compassion. For an office that has scriptures and religious artifacts throughout, it obviously does not rub off on the staff. In fact, it's the total opposite. Maybe Dr. Kim is secretly trying to perform exorcisms on his employees because they act like the devil in disguise. If you have an emergency and need to go out of town and have to get meds a day or two earlier due to a parent dying-the staff's response to that is "not our problem!" The prescriptions do not even last a full month. Dr. Kim makes you call the pharmacy so they can fax in a request to his office then the patient has to wait around for his lazy staff to call to pick up the prescription, which they sit on until the very last minute so you have to often go the weekend without meds because they don't give you enough time to pick up the prescription on Friday to get it filled. Please go somewhere else. staff is incompetent at best!

I was a little put off at first by all the negative comments but I'm so glad i went ahead and kept my appointment! I absolutely love Dr. Kim and his entire staff. I always get seen at the time specified, Dr. Kim always goes over every bit of my file, shows me things to do to lessen pain, i.e. yoga, stretching exercises, recommended probiotics when i talked to him about my stomach problems that my regular doctor blows off every single visit. He was rather upset when i mentioned that my regular doctor makes jokes every time i bring up my stomach problems. Dr. Kim is the best Dr I have and i have quite a few. Love them all!

Dr. Kim is very helpful and knowlegeable. His rules are there, yes, but he is liberal with medications. One of the best, in my opinion.

DR. KIM AND HIS STAFF HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, CARING. DR. KIM TAKES TIME TO DISCUSS ALL OF MY HEALTH CONCERNS WITH ME AND DOES NOT MAKE ME FEEL AS THOUGH I AM BOTHERING HIM.

On visit was told I didn't provide enough urine for test (most likely due to having been in hospital prior to appt. for vomiting/dehydration)and was told to come back next day to provide specimen. Next day was told they actually had enough previous day for test. Call would have been appreciated so I didn't have to make unnecessary trip. Never heard back regarding results, nor received pain prescription. When I called for results, was told I would have to fill out a release form before they could be provided AND THERE WOULD BE A CHARGE. All forms were previously filled out on first dr. visit including form to release patient records to my mother. Mother was also denied test results until she filed complaint against dr. with credit card company denying dr. payment until proof was provided test was done and test results. Never encountered such problems with other pain mgmt. docs. Seeing this doc due to prev. doc retiring. Will definitely find another after this!

Before I went to see this doctor, I admit that I was skeptical with all the bad remarks made by people here but now I know why. I have "Buerger's Disease" of which I should know because OU Medical Center diagnosed me (Same school he interned at) and about 20 other doctors in the span of 14 years agree whole heartedly. He had the gumption to tell me that I do not have this disease but do have PVD (Peripheral Vascular Disease) which is the same freakin' thing!! Then he says that "Buerger's Disease" attacks the kidneys in the beginning stages. That's BS!!! I should know...I been living with this for 14 years and have lost 8 toes and half a foot. The man is rude, egotistical and a moron. Don't go to this quack! His staff was very nice though but that's about all I can say positive about him. Then he puts me on MS-Contin 15mg. Morphine never did work for me. Also prescribed me Neurontin which is for nueropathy and diabetics! Any of you know a better doctor taking new patients? Please help.

I am quite happy with Dr. Kim and how he treats me and his diagnosis for my problems. I also am glad he is so careful about prescribing pain meds. Dr. Kim is a great doctor.

I have seen Dr. Kim 3 times and have had no problems whatsoever. I did my random drug test on my 1st and 3rd visits. I was honest about any kind of medicine I had taken (i.e. ZyrtekD, etc.) His staff has not been anything but friendly to me. Dr. Kim knows his stuff and while he is blunt, he is totally honest and I appreciate that in my doctor! He does have a strict set of rules, so if you don't like to follow rules, he is not the doctor for you!

Today was my appointment to see Dr. Kim. Before I went, I read all the previous reviews and was a bit discouraged about going. But after seeing Dr. Kim I realized that you can't judge a book by its cover. Dr. Kim was very pleasant and knowledgeable as was his staff. I suffer from chronic pain due to Degenerative Disc, 3 bulging discs and a Syrinx (Bruise of the spinal cord). At the age of 28, Dr. Kim helped me not only physically but mentally as well, in realizing my "disabilities" and what types of things I can do to help strengthen and loosen the muscles in my back. Granted they are extremely painful, I will continue to do them so long as they help manage my pain in the long run. Especially since I have to live with this condition for the rest of my life and won't be able to do the things I was once able to do. He also gave me some good advice about other occupational opportunities there are for me to do in my condition. I must say I have taken his advice and his help to heart.
