I had wonderful care at SC. But, I paid the co-pay with a cheek. My info was taken (Drivers license, SSN #, bank account, address, yearly income Ect.). I was hit with bank fraud while I was in USC hospital. SomeOne took my DL # had a fake ID made with their picture and cashed $23,000 worth of bad cheeks against my bank account. I think my info was stolen or an employee sold my personal info to a crook. I was in hospital for 12 days. It's the perfect time to take it vantage of somebody's ID and be the victim of identity theft. Once you get out you're still feeling awful and it's hard to clean up bank fraud of your account. Don't pay your copay with a cheek, use a credit card, bank counter cheek or cash. (checking account numbers are in the bottom of the check and it's easy for cooks to grab) . although I can prove it was someone at USC Hospital Admin who took or sold my ID and acct #'s it good advice to put fraud protection on your SSN, credit cards and bank acct. while in the hospital. These were some of the lowest types of thieves.
