The facility itself is wonderful. And of course, there are many specialties and doctors, but I've found that the care is inconsistent and nearsighted. It's great if you're ailed with something simple, but not if you have a lot of connecting problems, as everyone only specializes in a particular body part, so if you have problems with your legs, for example, you will see 4 different doctors, none of whom speak to one another, leading to a lot of disjointed care. The office wait times are also often over an hour, which is really crazy. To be fair, since there are many doctors, there are of course many great ones too. There's a great rehab (PT) facility, a great colorectal unit, east-west (acupuncture, etc.) office, and some wonderful primary care physicians, to start....but I would research things before making my decision to go there for care. Also, there will be facility/hospital fees charged to you (or your insurance...which often doesn't cover them, or doesn't cover them in full) in addition to the physician fees, so keep that in mind if you have fiscal limitations.

Had a kidney transplant in July 2014 and UCLA's pre- and post surgery care has been outstanding.
