Went in for sleep lab back in 2011 and was surprised to hear that I only have a mild sleep disorder. Surprised because there was a beeping sound that kept going off about every 1/2 hour just loud enough to keep me awake most of the night. Fast forward 2 years to present and I finally went back for a fitting for CPAP. As I was preparing my stuff for the night I noticed on the blanket what appeared to be a very large dried blood stain on it. Way too obvious for someone to miss. It makes me wonder what less obvious but more critical tasks are missed. The toilet in my ward smelled very strongly of stale urine. I held off using the toilet again until leaving the next morning to use another toilet and that one was even worse smelling! What will it take for this place to hire a better cleaning contractor? An outbreak? This hospital has had a poor reputation for many, many years.

The worst hospital that I have been in. It's filthy (bathroom and portable toilet not cleaned for 4 days), it is cramped, and most importantly found the nurses and nurses aids to be rough, unsympathetic and didn't know what they were doing. The computer system does not seem to talk from one system to another-would get one answer from the hallway nurse and another from the desk nurse which was never the same. Could never get to see a doctor and when one would show up it would be a different one almost every day so had to start over with medical exams etc. Language is a big problem at this hospital-even though we are French speaking most of the staff are from foreign speaking country-countries and their French is difficult to understand and they do not understand us. Worst is that they communicate with one another in a totally different language and we cannot know what they are saying. This hospital is the worst for elderly patients. Try to go elsewhere if you can.
